I would like that apart from recruiting survivors for our base, there are hostile survivors who want to attack us, which we would find when exploring a building, and they could try to negotiate so that they do not attack us, we could attack us, they could simply attack us and so on.

If we decide to fight them and win, we can keep their loot (weapons, medicines, rare resources, etc.).
If we lose, there will be two possible consequences, determined by chance or by a probability system:
Partial or Total Theft: Hostile NPCs can loot part or all of the player's inventory.
Permanent or Temporary Death: There is a small chance that the NPCs will kill the player, and we will lose them forever

Not all hostile survivors are the same: some attack directly, while others can negotiate or threaten the player depending on their progress and equipment.
This adds variety and depth to interactions.

This would make us explore more carefully, as there may be some survivors hiding in the building who are not friendly and intend not to share their help, therefore we would need to run away from them or fight with them, although this may attract zombies.

Another suggestion that I found interesting is:

**Physique and Performance **

Implementing a system where the character's physique affects their performance adds realism and customization to the gameplay:

Movement Speed:

Slim Characters: Faster but with lower resistance to damage.
Robust Characters: Slower due to their weight but more resistant to physical damage.

Strength or Weight:

Characters with low strength struggle to climb and may fall if their gear is too heavy.
Heavy characters cannot climb fragile or narrow surfaces.
Agile Characters: Easily climb and traverse tight spaces.

Load and Speed:

The total weight of inventory items directly affects the character's speed.
Stronger physiques can carry more without a significant speed reduction, while weaker ones are more affected by heavy loads.

Fatigue System:

Characters tire faster if their physique is not suited to the effort (e.g., carrying too much weight or running long distances).
Excessive weight increases the likelihood of errors, such as falls or extreme exhaustion.
Balance and Consequences:

Risk of Falling: Climbing with too much weight or low strength can result in injuries or dropping equipment.
Adaptation to Situations: Players must adjust inventory and strategies based on their character's physique.
Integration with Equipment Weight Mechanics:

Each item has a specific weight that adds to the character’s total. This system forces players to prioritize what to carry, adding a strategic layer to inventory management.
