Adam Pearce comes out first to say thank you for making WM42 the best ever. He announces 2 things. First. The WWE Draft will take place next week and the rosters will be cemented in place after Backlash that same week. Secondly, the WWE World cup will take place over the coming months for both men and women. The winners will get a World Championship opportunity. Qualifiers will take place over the next 2 weeks
New IC Champion Finn Balor hosts an Open Challenge. Rusev accepts. Finn defeats Rusev by Pinfall via Coup De Grace
WWE Tag Team Championship Number 1 Contenders match The New Day (Waller and Kingston) vs The Viking Raiders - The New Day win by Pinfall via Rolling Thunder Stunner
Los Americanos vs Alpha Academy - Los Americanos win by Pinfall after a Steel Plated Headbutt on Otis. After the match all 3 members of Los Americanos beat down Alpha Academy until the Original El Grande Americano makes the save. As he lost the mask vs mask match at WM he unmasks revealing it to be Chad Gable as the WWE Universe feigns shock. Chad apologizes to Alpha Academy. Says that he lost his way after failing to capture the intercontinental championship and that abandoning Alpha Academy was the biggest mistake he ever made and asks if they can ever forgive him. Maddison Li - A model and Crossfit competitor that stunned WWE staff at the non-indie tryout with her incredible strength. Getting named co-mvp alongside Grace English.
Soo Ji Young - A former K-Pop idol turned independant wrestler after her group split up. She was named MVP of the Indie wrestler tryout for the women.
"The Other" Ryan Reynolds (Known as "The Real Deal" Ryan Mercer) - An indie star who had to change his name when coming into WWE. Impressed at the Indie tryout being named Co-MVP
Big Bad Morris (Known as Morris King) - A star on the indie scene winning title in Mexico and America. Known for his power Morris was named co-mvp in the indie tryout.
Mark Ronkowski (Known as Aidan Gauge) - College wrestler who won a national title with Georgetown in his junior year. Looking to bring that technical ability to WWE after being named co-mvp of the non-indie tryout.
Lala Erenavula (Known as Leohaku) - A Fijian rugby player who's intensity and intimidating look caught the eye of the trainers at the non-indie tryout and led to him being named co-mvp.

Michael Starsen (known as Evan Hollywood) - A cocky heel in the American indie scene playing a hollywood star he now brings that to WWE.
Brittany Carter (Known as Karter Casey) - College wrestler at UConn winning a national championship, while maintaining a 4.0 GPA with a major in Biochemistry and a minor in performing arts performing a 1 hour stand up set for her final that went viral and was a model. Geneva Rose comes out and says she is excited to be Evolve's new GM. Her first act as GM is to bring in 2 new championships. The PC Championship for the men and the TBD Championship for the women. The 2 championships must be defended every time the title holder wrestles and they can not be defended in normal 1v1 matches. It must either be a multi-person match or a gimmicked match like a no-DQ or ladder match. She also announces that both championships will be decided by ladder matches on a new weekend show called "TBD Weekenders" These will be every month and thee will be 4 matches on the card where all 4 Evolve titles are defended on the show taking place at TBD's main location. Her final announcement that 2 of the TBD Championship's ladder match contenders will be Meilee Fan and Psycho Sally as they were members of TBD. The rest of the women's participants and the male participants will be decided by qualifier matches

Finn Balor vs Akira Tozawa for the Intercontinental Championship - Finn Balor retains after a show stealer where there was an early distraction from Rusev on Akira, Tozawa kicked out of a Coup De Grace and Finn kicked out of Senton from the top rope to ringside before Balor finished it off with a coup de grace. At the end of the match Finn raises Tozawa's hand in respect.

Matches will have a 15 minute time limit. it's 2 points for a win. 1 point each for a draw if it reaches 15 minutes and no points for a loss. Winner from group A of each brand faces the runner up of Group B on the same brand and Group B's winner faces group A's runner up. After that it is the semi finals before the WWE World Cup finals where the winner of each brand faces off against each other at Night of Champions.
