#WWE 2K25 - Default 'Ring Announcers' Wrong Per Show

I think it's registering as spam, because of the length and list-like elements. It might be worth trying to cut it down, in terms of size.

i mean never had an issue before but its rather annoying when you want to give details as much as possible then it flips lol
When you play a match in all modes such as universe, play by Default Ring Announcers are wrong for each Major Show (RAW, NXT & SmackDown) and they're also wrong for the PLE's
As it Stands within WWE 2K25:-
RAW - Mike Rome
SmackDown - Mike Rome
NXT - Alicia Taylor
What It Should be in WWE 2K25 vs WWE production:-
RAW - Alicia Taylor
SmackDown - Mike Rome (seen as we don't have Mark Nash in the game)
NXT - Mike Rome
All Current (2024) PLE's - Alicia Taylor
Saturday Night's Main Event - Alicia Taylor (seen as we don't have Lilian Garcia in the game)

Is this maybe feedback? You're saying that you want to be able to pick the ring announcer for each show in Universe mode?

Hi, I tagged you because my post was deleted by the bot, so @lyric shadow suggested splitting the post down which i have done, basically yes this is feedback and the ring announcers are set incorrectly in the game literally every show RAW, Smackdown it's Mike Rome as default and NXT is Alicia Taylor but this isn't correct, you guys made the change last year in WWE 2K24 to represent real WWE production so i'm just highlighting the issues this year that they need changing to what i've mentioned above seen as we can't set our own ring announcer per show.

Gotcha! I've actually thought the same thing when I was playing Universe mode. I think it makes a lot of sense to choose the announcer per show.
I'm not sure if you already tried this, there is a way to choose the ring announcer per match.

yeah i will add it to there but i made a mistake and i have to wait 6 hours lol, another thing i hate about that is the 6 hour timer :(, i know there is an option to change per match but this get really complicated especially when there is rivalry matches cause you change anything and then the rivalry has been lost so i tend not to change anything regarding that, which is why i believe there should be a ring announcer option within 'show details' the same place where you can choose commentary, location, show name etc... but this post is just for the devs to make simple switches on their end to make mike rome do smackdown and nxt and then for alicia taylor to do raw and saturday nights main event as well as the PLE's that way at least its up to date and if the devs can some how make it possible to have the option of choosing a ring announcer per show then amazing for the community 🙂

WWE Ring Announcers should be set in the game as default with the correct announcers shown on screen as per WWE production. If the devs can add a function within 'Show Details' for universe mode to select your preferred announcer then that would be amazing but in the meantime i'd just want the ring announcers correct to represent real life

I think your point about regular updates to match the current state of WWE is a different note. I'll add the ring announcer feedback and you're welcome to add the second part after the timer is up.

Just a quick observation, the game is based on last year, which would mean those assignments were correct at the time of production. As Alicia and Mike switched in May 2024, it's possible the ring announcing setup is locked at that time of year. Mark might have arrived just in time to get in for 2K26.

Yeah i get that @grizzled tusk I'm just hoping they can at least update the game like they did with WWE2K24 to represent the production of the company now, because Alicia Taylor doesn't do any PLE's in the game really yet Mike Rome didn't do any last year or at least if he did Alicia did more, the other suggestion i had was to finally be able to have an option to choose a ring announcer per show at your own choice
