Harvest bug still active

I don't know what triggers it, I drank a harvest potion from my inventory (not from the hotbar) and have 300% harvest gloves on. One harvest got 8,000 blueberries. I've drank a few harvest potions before this with these gloves on and it hasn't done it so I don't know the trigger. Last time this happened it was on a lower altitude island, this time it was at 2,000 on my ship

I think it has something to do with the gloves (I threw the inventory full of blueberries off the side of the ship) but after taking the gloves off and putting them back on, it fixed the issue.
