#Game crash with reset of compass return point

Believe I've seen some others receive help with game saves that are pretty borked. Where do I submit a world save for uncorrupting / untangling?

Had my game crash while fooling around with my ship, as far as I know I wasn't messing with the ships Control Wheel / Panel, but the game fritzed out and crashed. When I started it back up I was back at the starter island. I still have waypoints saved and displayed, but now my compass is set to the nearest starter ship wreckage, with the control wheel from the starter island already used up.

I'd rather not spend the rest of my days paddling around in a boat at sea level looking for enough random wrecked ships to find a control wheel to make my way back to my ships last known coordinates. A bit bummed that blueprints and other progress isn't tied to the individual profile, as I have what I feel is quite a bit unlocked and don't want to start over in a fresh world.🪳

Last known coordinates for my ship was at one of the Towny marked points.

Looks like something got your ship and it got turned into a island.

It got corrupted.

Can you tell me what you had on that ship so you dont have to start from scratch?

Oh gosh. I had a metric ton of doodads. It was a 6 engine, six balloon, six propeller behemoth. I don't think I could upgrade any further due to the next level of items not in game yet.

6 engines is 1500 meters, you mean you couldn't upgrade the building space anymore?

I don't know the values, just that I had 6, and I was trying to move them around to make a more effeicent ship to move around. Had a chest with building materials and metals, a chest for plants and animal products, and 5 double gold chests for fancy things like crystals, runes, dust and coins. Only 1 double chest had coins though after the coin stacking update.

Does the save file overwrite all the previous save files?

I understand its a mess with us all stress testing and breaking stuff, just good upgraded ship core witha random smattering of materials and crafting tables so I can carry on exploring and rebuilding my wealth is fine enough fix.

All the "normal" ones but only the Steamer one with the grinder teeth in it? Processor? If that makes sense.

No that was the only Steamer type table I had

I had all the other ones to enchant or upgrade anf build and all that good stuff.

SO did the wood blocks get turned into rock or it just went poof?

Weird. Is there anything in the save files that will be helpful to y'all on your end to see where and what might have gone wrong, or what I might have done that did it?

All we know that it sometimes happens when your pc loses power or rarely during specific crashes. I presume it had to happen perfectly when the game was saving your data.
