Here’s the list I created based on my experiences:

  • PRIORITY:
The game’s meta is currently all about long balls into the box — just crossing the entire field with high passes. In my opinion, that’s what ruins the game the most. It becomes ugly and boring: no ball control, no passing plays, no tactics — just constant long balls, where the striker goes 50/50 with the goalkeeper, since defenders are basically useless in the air.

To fix this, at least inside the opponent’s box, the striker should never win a header against the defender, regardless of position. That would encourage teams to create different plays instead of relying on high passes all the time.

  • PAID GAME:
I know the game was made with a lot of effort and dedication, and you deserve to earn money for what it is. But in the current situation, I believe the main thing that could revive the game is making it free to play.

For profits, the focus should be only on skins, items, and cosmetics, such as:

Goal explosions

Unique celebrations

Cleats (boots)

Complete team kits

Goal celebration music

Character auras

Remove gold rewards from the season pass so players buy the next one with real money

  • ADD CLAN / TEAM SYSTEM:
This doesn’t exist in the game yet, but it would be great to add a ranked team system.
That’s where scrims, tournaments, and friendly matches could happen. It would count points for the clan — like a team-based ranked mode within the game itself.
Also, it could automatically show the clan tag in players’ names instead of forcing them to change it on Steam/Xbox/PS.

  • ADD TOURNAMENT TAB INSIDE THE GAME:
This would allow players to register directly in-game and compete through matches until the final. The winner would receive a unique tag that changes based on the number of daily tournaments won, as well as exclusive rewards — which could even include in-game gold.

In short, these are just a few ideas that I see as possible solutions for the current state of Rematch.
