#Suggestions to Strengthen Rematch’s Esports Scene

Hi Sloclap team or whoever might see this,

As someone who hopes to turn Rematch into a professional path, I’d like to share a few thoughts that could help grow the scene further and attract top esports organizations into the ecosystem.

A clear, developer supported esports roadmap would help bring structure to the competitive scene. Right now, it feels fragmented and uncertain. Official leagues, regional qualifiers, or even a global championship plan would give players and orgs confidence to invest.

Support for aspiring pros. A system that supports players trying to go pro (such as ranked team ladders, public leaderboards, I know that there are third-party leaderboards out there but having a in-game one that is built of your database would be amazing, or org scouting tools) would show there’s a real path for committed players like me.

More developer visibility and communication in the esports space. Currently, I have to rely on scattered third-party websites, Discord servers, and social media just to find tournaments. While the Toornament platform is a great centralized hub for official tournaments, many community run events and updates still happen across scattered channels. It would be helpful to have more regular developer updates or in-game announcements highlighting both official and community events, to make it easier for players to stay involved and for the scene to grow.

Rematch has real potential to be a competitive staple, and I’m excited to grow with it. I hope to see the esports side of the game continue to expand.
