It’s okay if you want to allow people to team up regardless of rank but solo queueing with that in the game just makes the experience worse for any solo queuer who gets past gold. Elite players who solo queue will often get silver or bronze player teammates and if they are matched up with a pro team playing ranked that day……not a fun time.
