I wasn't able to clip it fast enough, but the bug started when I, as keeper, collided with a teammate who was trying to tackle the ball. For a moment it seemed like I picked up the ball like normal, then it was like my teammate tackled me or something and I lost possession and became stuck in defensive stance. As keeper, I wasn't really able to do anything. Outside of net I found I could still use extra effort and tackle but I couldn't do anything else. My teammates suggested I leave and rejoin and that did fix it.
