I saw someone make a good video showcasing this but i couldn't find it, so i remade it. Hopefully this does a good job showcasing what this person is talking about.
dunno what's going on in this video, but on mouse and keyboard, my shit looks like the controller part of the video.
Nah just hopped in and tested it the video is correct
I'm not at my gaming rig to try it, but I notice multiple cases where the approach on a prioritized input on the ball from a distance will move the character laterally and not orbit about whatever the crosshair happens to be marking.
This is most noticable when doing headers into the goal from a cross pass in freeplay.
if you input early, your character will move towards the ball and pull your camera along with it (and miss). You have to compensate by aiming towards the center of the net if you are near post aiming.
