Maybe I am wrong about this, but since the patch implementing the 5 frame delay before the ball is actionable to eliminate the use of the air dribbling exploit the game feels much less crisp when handling the ball. Since the patch I have noticed most passes that feel catchable as they fly overhead or on the ground in front of myself or a team mate now do not have a quick enough response time to properly trap the ball and instead they simply fly past the player.
There has a been a very noticeable drop off on passes connecting from the night before the patch to yesterday and today. I don’t think the best approach to solve this problem was to make the game feel worse overall to combat an exploit with limited usage.
Just want to note that I agree air dribbling is terrible and needs to go but I don’t think this was the solution.
