#Easy Anti Cheat

Yes, I had to install Easy Anti-Cheat separately using the EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe provided with the game. I also ran the installation with the correct ProductId (243499440), but EAC still doesn't recognize the game client and throws the error: 'Unknown file version (RuntimeClient-WinGDK-Shipping.exe)'. I’ve tried repairing, verifying files, reinstalling the game, and ensuring internet access, but nothing helped
Is this how everyone on the xbox app has to install the game?
For most Xbox App users, games install automatically with all the required dependencies, including Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC), and everything “just works” out of the box. Manual installation or repair of EAC is only needed when something goes wrong during setup — like missing or corrupted game files, mismatched builds, or conflicts with security software. for me it just doesnt work idk why
