If one of the goals of the devs is to promote more passing (especially at lower skill levels), I think the game would benefit from having an option to always display the pass direction indicator line around your player, like it does when you begin charging a pass.
I think some people struggle with passing (and therefore don’t try to pass as much) because they don’t know exactly how their left stick is positioned when they begin passing. This can lead to bad passes that would have been more accurate if the indicator line was present before the player received the ball or before they began passing.
I think it comes down to whether or not the developers want players’ awareness of their stick position to be an element of skill in the game or if they want more accurate passing.
