My AAR:
I joined as soviets in a recon squad. Me and my squadmate provided fire support at Military Base Levy with NSVs while my squad leader seized it with other teammates.
My SL ( @hasty ocean ) got into a helicopter and located the American MOB near Power Station. He airlifted me and my squadmate there. We encountered FIA and he was KIA. I managed to kill the guy and escape. He had an American radio on him. Great find.
The firefight between FIA and Americans was intense.
I could hear a helicopter circling the area, as well as an LAV firing at the distance. The FIA was getting crushed at Power Station and night was approaching fast.
I headed to Étoupe to ambush the Americans as they headed further south. I slipped unnoticed to avoid fighting the FIA. They weren't my enemy at the time, but I did not want to end up like my squadmate.
Just as I was getting into position, an American construction truck passed by, heading south. I tried following him driving a van, but lost line of sight. I heard on enemy radio "Hey you in construction truck, turn right, we're here".
I kept driving and found them south east of Hedgehog hill, setting up a base. By that time, it was night and the Americans had taken control over Power Station.
My SL contacted me. He had an NSV and a bold plan. I could hear enemy radio chatter "Hey! I saw a Soviet at Gorey. He went past me in a jeep!". That must be him. The helicopter started patrolling around with his searchlight on.
We met at a beach in the pitch black and climbed south of Lacan's Head and set the NSV up there. When we had the Huey on our sights, my SL said "Shit, I got KPVT ammo instead of NSV ammo".
He then came up with an even bolder plan: let's sneak into an enemy base and steal a 50 cal. He drove into an enemy base, but it was crawling with enemies. He eventually got spotted and I escaped in the vehicle. I headed to Gorey while being pursued by the helicopter and under fire from some heavy machineguns
