Integrity - Coyota Offroad (WIP)

Happy to reveal the new Coyota Offroad (affectionally known in real-life as the Toyota Hilux) for the community. Another modification brought to you by Integrity Gaming Studios. This is primarily the work of one of our developers, @buoyant pine.

** (WIP - Early Public Access)**

The Coyota Offroad is a powerful off-road vehicle with four wheel drive and open load area that sports heavy machine guns, including the M2HB, PKM, and later will support the DShKM. The gun fires 12.7mm Soviet cartridges and is commonly mounted as an anti-aircraft gun on Russian tanks. The armor piercing rounds of this weapon can penetrate 15 mm armor at 500 meters.

There is also simple civilian transport variants for passengers and supplies. This addon will use an upcoming DShKM mod from Integrity Gaming for that variant, but it is not yet released.

WIP Note: There is still more improvement work planned around this addon, including with animations and materials improvement. At this point the mod is very stable and lots of attention to detail has gone into everything, including vehicle lights, etc. We are also preparing more detailed versions with wear and tear as well. The interior will also get a radical facelift in the future.

LICENSE NOTE: This mod will later permit some modifications with retexturing (so long as attribution and IG marks are not removed), but until that time no derivatives are allowed at all and are likely to also cause issues with the expected updates.

I suggest making the technical versions (atleast) more dirty looking, if you make it back home from offroading, hunting people or vehicles the first thing you think of when you get back is probably not a carwash. If you agree, check out EO’s “Used Civilian Vehicles” mod.

Our materials arent Multimatted, so we cant easily add dirt masks

EO's mod is just changing a slider that vanilla already setup for him to do so
We are looking for people who are familiar with substance painter, and the enfusion import process, to help us with some of our projects though

Appreciate the offer, but for IP and other reasons we would prefer to keep work on this to our dev team members, and also concerned that you are workshop banned, which could create liabilities as well. Our studio is part of a legally registered organization (Integrity Gaming), so just not worth the risk.

Ive never uploaded a mod, the only thing ive ever done is create models and texture work in substance for a multitude of RP servers.

Seems? Based on? I grew up riding in one of these decades ago. They are smaller pickup trucks and are indeed "low" to the ground.

After checking more the height does look correct. But what i now believe the reason to why i initially thought so, is that the wheels looks to be close to the fenders even with no load so it looks compressed.

Toyotas trucks are honestly a bit weird when it comes to the height, some years they seam super tall, others they’re low like that

That was for sure the reality in the past as well. That's just what toyota made. They have gotten bigger I suspect due to consumer expectations over time.

Saports Hilux I imagine? Yeah, it wasn't finished but what we had already was leagues above that and usable. We can always wait for perfection, but having a balance and releasing something sooner so others can be along for the ride with it can help.

Hey brother I have a Toyota J79 3d model US SOF uses them alot for low vis, I just need help getting it rigged and textured I have both the models and textures, and I’m working on adding MFDs from the FRM VT4 mod and some proprietary tech from latinalightning where we can add spectrum analyzers in the vehicle where can locate radio transmissions being sent out on the map

There's tons of different ways to create a "VBIED", And to me the primary way doesn't require this mod to include anything. On our Insurgency game mode server players, for example, just put explosives inside the vehicle in the bed or cab. That effectively makes it a VBIED

I would be concerned about having our team work on a project having any knowledge of the source of the model. I'm assuming that if you need help with something like this, you simply purchased a model. We would not have any knowledge about the licensing and IP. And beyond that, we are quite busy with trying to finish some of our own content.

As far as this kind of work is well, some of that is not my personal expertise so if you're asking me, I'm not the guy to provide the help or have the time for a another project at this time. I am not the sole Developer for our team.

Yeah, just because its bought on CGTrader doesn't guarantee. The other issue is we wouldn't want our team touching any purchased assets that our org itself didn't purchase. You cannot distribute it further. We don't even touch base assets purchased by any of our devs or members due to the license terms.

Civilian, M2HB, PKM, and support for a set of DShK versions if you also load the Integrity - DShK mod (that is still a WIP).

About 6 colors for each of those, so technically 24 variants. Also supports randomize prefabs for both civ and armed versions too

Like, the vanilla vehicles have radios in them for the the radio mods to work. So you can put different radio stations in them @fickle pier

We can look into supporting it, but not as a dependency. We will have to review providing support for it though. We'd also like not to tie to things that have a tendency for copyright violations which those kind of mods have been known for.
