also any different take on the SP/COOP scenarios (vs the campaign)

I meant that the campaign can be played SP, but it is kind of multiplayer-with-bots.

The campaign was designed for COOP play indeed. However we tried to make it playable also alone or with few players/friends [on a dedicated server for performance reasons].

The reason we did expose it to SP itself was largely due to BI by mistake ticking the "singleplayer" flag on Steam and then we got complaints about "false advertisement". We tried to optimize it further to get reasonable FPS for SP, yet there is only so much one can do in A3.

Overall the campaign design was a mix of historical representation of the Operation Cobra campaign as well as the feel of being part of a large operation [vs the classical hero/small special forces or storying telling focused design for SP/small scale COOP].

Wasn't intended as a negative criticism, but response to specific question. I bought SPE fairly recently, mainly for 3rd party scenarios it enables
