Overview
TacOps PVP is designed to recreate the tactical, high-stakes experience of the America’s Army 2/3 gamemode within the Arma Reforger engine for multiplayer. This mod focuses on strict teamwork, deliberate pacing, and structured squad combat. Discord Sever Link: https://discord.gg/fFrDfemA
Match Structure
The format is round-based, Best-of-5, where the first team to 3 points wins.
There is a strict one life per player per round system.
Teams consist of 15 players per side (US vs. Soviet), and players remain with their chosen faction for the entire match.
Roles alternate between Attacker and Defender each round.
Deployment Phase
A 1-minute pre-game phase occurs before every round to allow for organization and deployment.
The squad is locked to 15 distinct slots, where each slot grants a predefined loadout.
Squad Leaders select from predetermined spawn points.
A countdown is displayed on the UI; no one spawns until it hits 0, ensuring everyone spawns in at once.
The entire fireteam spawns together at the selected point.
Game Modes & Objectives
In all game modes, Attackers win by completing the map-specific objective or if they eliminate all enemy forces. Defenders win by holding the objective until the 15-minute timer expires or if they eliminate all enemy forces.
Assault: Attackers must reconfigure 1 of 2 radio relays hidden in designated buildings.
VIP Extraction: The Attacker Squad Leader acts as the VIP and must reach a marked extraction site. The VIP receives a unique FIA-style loadout for identification.
Spectator System
Once a player is killed, they enter a spectator mode. To maintain competitive integrity, spectators cannot communicate with living players.
Is this a plug and play where you can make the scenario on any map? Can people make mod overrides to change loadouts?
This sounds sick
Yeah i tried to make it as plug and play as possible, still in the early playtest phase of it so i dont have documentation on how to make your own scenario yet but i plan on adding that so people can make their own. And yes mission makers will be able to change loadouts of the roles
