#Prefab overhaul to a modern feel, hence why my server has Modern in its name.

Showing off some of my work with my goal is to have a modern version of Reforger. I’m working on and creating updated prefabs with my modern assets and adding functions to them like the updated floodlight that’s functional. Many more things to do but this is what I have so far! Enjoy.

I’m still developing it but right now I got most assets on a scenario. Reason I’m doing that is to figure out Bis odd way of creating new prefabs and it’s tricky but doable. So far I’ve got 3 prefabs reworked with updated xob assets or blender to workbench = xob to a base .et prefab to a scene prefab

Was looking forward for something like that.

Yes, I got tired of waiting for someone so I did it hahah it’s just tricky to do cause in order to get it to work 100% is both configuration and script driven from what I’m discovering. Placeable’s in like GM is straightforward easy to add that’s the configuration approach. To get them work with scenarios like Conflict, PVE, Campaign, HQC, Combat ops is mostly script driven under build services which is scripted in some aspects. That’s the tricky part of doing it a mostly why I’m assuming if someone tired it probably didn’t work

Example is the Headquarters_US.et Headquarters prefab. You can change it all you want, add, delete objs in that prefab in workbench and run it in a test world or gm spawn it and will have your edits. But as soon as your try to run it in a scenario, scripts take over and anything that calls on any prefab has a snapshot version of the original and will alway refer to that unedited snapshot version of that entity keeping its in the 80s version. That’s the tricky part cause you can brute force it in some aspect but testing that bugs the game. Tricky doing it but I’m surprisingly getting right in some aspects.
