The helis can patrol an area and they will shoot with (side) guns. This is dependent on the define AI skill and perception. The AI does not understand the rockets so never seen them firing those. AR feature.

Ah that sick so better ai skill = better side gunner alr, and that sucks that AI don’t understand Rockets because of AR feature but oh well maybe in the future 🤷 but thx again for the amazing work u been doing lot of small groups will love this mod

Not sure what you mean with 'heli grenades', but I'm refering to the rockets you can shoot from the heli as a pilot.

Idk shit about AI. I was wondering if it's possible to use functionality from when an ai decides to use a grenade and apply it to when it decides to use a rocket. And or apply how it understands that it can use a grenade to the rocket

It's a yes and no answer. The landing functionality is WIP and not yet available.

If you use DarcMissions mod on your server, you will get missions with flying helicopters.

If you want to spawn flying helicopters on your server, you need to add the component to the helicopters. They will roam around when spawned. You can via scripting give them directions, but that is something you have to implement.
