The 15th MEU Teleporter mod introduces a flexible fast-travel system designed for dedicated server multiplayer operations (fully compatible with Singleplayer). It allows Game Masters to establish transport hubs using physical flag objects and invisible destination points.
Features:
- Dynamic Network: Teleport flags automatically detect all available destination points in the mission.
- Game Master Integration: GMs can place "Teleport Destination Point" entities dynamically. These are invisible to players but clearly marked for GMs.
- Live Renaming: GMs can rename teleport points in real-time using context actions. The new names immediately appear in the player's scroll menu (e.g., "Main Base", "FOB Alpha").
- Multiplayer Ready: Fully replicated and specialized for Dedicated Server environments.
- Standard Interaction: Uses the native interaction menu (scroll wheel) for seamless integration.
Usage Instructions:
- Setup:
- Place a "Teleport Flag" (Systems) to serve as a departure point.
- Place "Teleport Destination Point" entities (Systems) at desired arrival locations up to a maximum of 10
- Management:
- GMs can right-click a Teleport Point and select "Rename Teleport Point" to customize its display name (gets truncated to 24 characters)
- Transport:
- Players approach the flag, scroll to view destinations, and select one to travel.
- Alternatively, use the random option to jump to a random destination.
- If no destination points exist, the random option will safely teleport players to a random wilderness location (avoiding water, buildings, and obstacles).
