SpanishCivilWar (SCW) it's a project covering the period between 1936 and 1939 of the Spanish Civil War.

It will focus on being as accurate as possible in all content, adding uniforms used in the army and those that appeared during the civil war, Spanish and imported rifles, vehicles such as the T-26B, Panzer I, and Panzer I Breda and much more content manufactured in Spain.

  • Once the initial content is released, expeditionary forces such as the Germans, Italians, International Brigades, etc... will be added.

  • The mod will be separated into different mods to group the content properly.
    For example, the characters (New heads and bodies) will be in an individual mod called Characters.

  • These mods will not have dependencies, which will allow you to use content individually without having to download everything else you don't need.
    The Core mod will have dependencies on everything necessary and all SCW content packs.

This project began in Squad44, where it received a lot of support with a view to exporting the project to Arma Reforger/Arma 4 in the future but with the small player base it has lately the main focus has changed and we are now looking towards Arma Reforger/Arma 4, where it will reach more players and for the first time, consoles.
In the future once the mod has been released with sufficient content, it will also be added to Squad44.

    • 3D modeler for weapons
    • Animator to create weapon animations.

The spanish civil war is a very difficult period to work with, small arms procurement was very varied an generally caotic, specially on the republican side. There are some good reads out there, and forgotten weapons has some videos talking about the weapons from the period. There is also a yt Channel from spanish guy (Channel is in english) that recreates the uniforms for reenactments.

One question? What is the scope of the small arms / uniforms from the period

Diferent republican factions and fronts would mean that an accurate cuantity of uniforms would be very high

#

And small arms would vary greatly, from arasaka, mouser an mossing rifles to copies of small arms from other natíons, the cuantity of diferent weapons and ammunitions would be very high.
