Did you also struggle with getting roads to show up on your map? Or is it a design choice to not have them shown?

Not his mod, it's Colton's TDL mod. As someone involved with the development process, there's still a lot of work to go around. It will eventually be heavily reliant on the existing network ecosystem

No, it will not be a requirement, documentation is pending for set up on any EUD.
Just a small feedback from me, the mod didn't work properly with TAO, I can't reach all the places with the cursor, you probably know how this mod changes the FOV so I won't write about it here ๐ But as we know, most servers use it and it would be nice if it was compatible with this mod,
I noticed this as well, TAO also seems to block much of the view of the device (when holding a weapon) moreso then base game, i had a plan to maybe have an action to "view" the device from current head position but allow look around within a cone, if that makes sense. Really the touchscreen is a nice feature but not necessarily designed as the "main" interaction with the device.
Apologies if this may be a silly question, i know the GRS varient is avaible however is the atoresearch with the CDD one avaible to use as of this moment for testing?

This device currently does not come with it, but you can add ATOResearch to a server to see that implementation, or wait for GRS Essentials to recieve an update for the folding display, the ATAK menu is accessible now though on GRS essentials with their ATAK patches.

Seems to be fixed now, A long time ago it seems I duplicated chimeraInputCommon.conf, because I didn't change the name or relative path, workbench generated a GUID which matched the base game, so my chimeraInputCommon would be treated as the "source" based on mod load order (so if TAO was loaded before the Chinook, their actions would disappear) I deleted the config file (it was unused) and no further issues have been reported.
Oh, for TDL haha, that's not really in scope to fix yet
