I was able to watch the videos thank you for sharing! I believe your issue with the probe not working is your Boxvol isnβt a 4 sided cube/rectangle. it looks like it is same shape as building. It should be 4 rectangles each can overlap escorted.
Yea. i noticed π i had this donut shape π THough it could work.. Made it into one so the "Outside" courtyard is now also inside.. actually might be better.. Took a while to get how it works together BSP and portal with the sound ... I thought BoxVol was part of the sound, maybe it is somehow.. but not for my sense..
Yeah i found to create the total BSP with use of Boolean -> Diff -> Float on the BSP really worked great! And if you don't invert the Normals for the Cube you make as the room it will be correct instant which normal facing where in the actual BSP..
I've had some Portal Vertices issues / leaking warnings which aactually seem ok anyway. Havent used the Create portals.. Found it actually easier make the Portal Planes myself, otherwise i have to create them.. fix the rotation.. create again.. etc..
I Made it then in Two steps.
First the Rooms itself with the Cubes..
Then the Portal connector Cube after..
Both of the steps Boolean using the Difference -> Float (float created best optimized for planar for me)

To best of my knowledge boxvol is only for probe. You can have multiple. So for your shape building you would want 4 boxes. Iβd give a visual picture but at work and canβt lol. They can overlap each other. Wherever the box line ends youβll notice a black line stop from the probe.
Yeah thats what i had in the beginning 6 different boxes, 4 for the main actual building, then 2 for the extra boxvol for the door entrys, i'll probably go back to that π
