I would like to re-introduce TFG's PvE Conflict Modes built off of GRAMPS PvE Framework rebuilt to be compatible with 1.6!

We am happy to bring them back, and after much work, I was able to get some of them recovered and rebuilt. But with that, these are now in LEGACY mode, as I have moved onto new ventures and projects (such as WARFARE).

REINTRODUCING -
The maps returning in our PvE mode were selected by compatibility and popularity. I have chosen the top 8 maps to make their return to the ArmA Reforger Community.

  • Ruha
  • Kunar
  • Gogland
  • Iraq
  • Novka
  • Zarichne

As with a LEGACY version, know that -

  • These are AS IS. Meaning they will receive updates to be compatible with the newest version of the game, but will not receive any major Update
  • Each map is the base PvE mode (non-Lite) as they were originally designed.
  • Each map has fixes to their NavMeshes (if needed).
  • Each map has their basic Systems that I designed to enhance their gameplay experience.
  • Some world Edits have been tweaked to help with stability as well.

I will not be taking new suggestions when it comes to this mode or the maps presented. You can submitt bug reports. But bug fixes (unless game-halting critical) will be taken care of when the map needs to be updated to the next version of the game mode. There will be some monitoring of the mode, but again, my focus is with WARFARE at the moment in the development cycle.

Community Remarks

I wanted to take this time to first thank the community for all your support. It means the world to me, and with my last modes collectively reaching 75k downloads, I can say I'm more then humbled. I don't get paid to do these things, and I take time out of my life to use my passion of development to make these modes not only for my chaps, but for all of you. I personally want to thank all the fantastic map makers that our mode was built on, you guys are the champions, and I personally salute you ๐Ÿซก

Personally to Gramps, you are the GOAT for your framework! Really, means the world!

Recently, the ArmA Reforger Modding community has been going through hardship. With some even taking a longer break to recover after the 1,6 update toasted so much. I for one felt it when all my modes became corrupted, and it had taken me nearly three weeks to recover/rebuild my game modes. This has been heavy for a lot of us, but I have faith we can rise to the occasion! I personally started my journey when I was on the 82nd PvE Servers last November, playing with friends in unstable PvE servers that finally made us organize and, well, figure it out ourselves ๐Ÿคฃ . At the time, I knew nothing of the Enfusion Engine, or how to make an awesome game mode. And thus I learned, having a community backing me all the way. TFG was literally a simple "Hey that's a cool squad name" kinda moment last Thanksgiving, and now, after a year, they have supported me along my journey where I have the daily support to continue my works, building amazing game modes for all of us to share meowawww

Yet, it hasn't come without it hardships. I've had people use my works without credit (AAO Community) and even got banned from the 82nd server after posting the trailer for the RUHA PvE drop (which at the time they were running TFG's PVE Conflict game modes knowing I was the developer, so the irony was spot-on ๐Ÿคฃ ). Even more, I've had my share of DM's like somehow I do this as a job where I get paid, and at times issues that, well, were unpleasant to say the least... I do this because I love it, not because I have to ๐Ÿ™‚

But, I persisted, and here I am now, republishing the game modes I love so much to give back to my community. To those who build, create, enhance the ArmA experience, thank you! To those who play, support, and use our game mode, thanks again! To the Server Communities who have used my modes, inviting me to snoop around and post my video announcements, provide feedback, and show me support, even bigger thanks! We are here to have fun. Although it can be challenging to create content, remember, it's just a game, sometimes we gotta sit back, and actually play ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Note

Its been discussed in my community and I believe going forward I will make the following changes to all eight PvE will be -

  • Gear in the Arsenal will NOT be ranked locked.
  • MSAR will be adjusted by 100 supplies for each rank.
  • Vehicles will remain behind Rank Lock

My hopes is this will give some level of freedom back to Conflict. Everything else will remain unaffected ๐Ÿ™‚

I found a bug in the Anizay Legacy map version. After I captured about 5 points, the next capture points didnโ€™t appear. I waited for 1 hour, but they still didnโ€™t show up. Iโ€™m not sure if this issue happens on all maps of the Legacy version. Could you please check this

If you dont see the red lines the mission needs to be edited.

faction affiliation for the us startbases needs to be changed. Since 1.6 you have to leave the faction affiliation entry blank

To answer some questions -

  • With Anizay, I reduced the respawn down to 2 waves instead of three. The system I used at the time was multiple, smaller spawns that would have AI spawn in, then move to the objective (having at times up to 6 spawns for AI groups). Sometimes, however, when youd kill one group, then another, then another, it would essentially stagger their spawns (instead of all at once) and eventually, yes, you would kill them off, but it would take quite some time (cause in the past people were complaining on Anizay it was too fast for capturing). I reduced the spawns, and made some adjustments as well. So hopefully that helps.

  • As for Capture Points, sometimes its the actual PvE framework from Gramps that can cause an issue. Its a known bug but not easily fixable at the moment. Additionally, on our servers, we found that only the Assault Squads can see the next objectives.

Anizay will have an update in about 20 minutes.

Yeah, I know there not perfect fixes. It took a lot of work to get the framework back up and I spent nearly 10 hours on Saturday getting it finally fixed. There will be issues, and I am willing to help fix some, but understand it will take time as I have other matters to attend to

Iโ€™m going to remove it shortly. Iโ€™m finding the old systems I recovered are having difficulties with 1.6 and the situations with gas are not making it easier for players because the gas mask that resists is found in RHS

My mortar system will also be removed since it now causes major server issues that are not sustainable like in 1.4<. I will be trying to work Gramps Artillery system when I have time. But my goal is to make the modes stable enough for people to play

COMMUNITY NOTE UPDATE
** NOVEMBER 25th 2025**

I have gone through each mode and removed the mortar system I designed as it, well, trashes the whole system.. In some of the maps, I am currently testing GRAMPS system when it comes to the mortar crew system he designed. Still need to work on it, but hopefully in the near future it will enhance the experience.

Zarichne right now cannot get updated as I keep getting timed out. I will push the update as soon as ArmA lets me ๐Ÿ˜… . Otherwise, I hope the stability pushes help with the overall experience.

However, I have noticed my PvE modes have been getting a large amount of negative reviews. My suspicion is from calling out certain communities, which I knew of the consequences, but do not regret. Or that perhaps my modes are to busted up for 1.6 to be playable. Either case, its making me rethink my publications going forward to protect my communities work and my contribution to the community as a whole ๐Ÿ™‚ .

If the negative reviews keep going the way they are, I will move my modes to become private, and only community partners of TFG who have been insightful, helpful, and an overall joy to be with will receive the modes for their server use as needed. To all of you who have supported me and TFGโ€™s modes, a deep heartfelt thank you! You guys are the best!

Tbh removing them because other groups donโ€™t like you or your group or the mods is just giving them exactly what they want. The only people negatively affected by removing them from the workshop are your fans. People that actually want to play it.

"Major" Update for PVE CONFLICT LEGACY

  • All modes no longer use Game Master FX. If they had mines, they use the base game now. Some of the fire particles I remade myself with the in game systems for better efficency as well.
  • Zarichne is now updated and fixed with no Mortars as well ๐Ÿ™‚

Fun Little Addition

On our servers, we don't use RHS and instead use REAPERCORE.

I made a simple mod that reskins the USSR troops (besides naval troops atm) to Modern Gear found in REAPERCORE.

Made primarily for my PvE modes for compatibility, but it will run in Game Master and Combat Operations as well. Be careful using this mod that already overrides USSR troops, this mod will override it.

Not without mods yet. Just done a reset on server to update and then that happened. Deleted the other mods that updated. Will try run it solo.

**COMMUNITY UPDATE
**
For the month of December, I have decided to, in my best interest, take a breather. 1.6 was rather tough to get through, and after getting my older PVE modes working (at least I hope ๐Ÿ˜† ), I need some time in order to refocus, to rest as the burnout is becoming real. I love doing this, serving you chaps, making awesome modes, and enjoy the overall experience, but I do need a break, as with anything ๐Ÿ˜…

Thank you all for your continual support, really means the world to me. I've been proud to serve the community as a whole, delivering awesome PvE game modes to the masses while also enjoying the experience along the way. TFG is reaching its one year anniversary ๐Ÿฅณ , and I couldn't be more proud of my community support through such an amazing year!

To that end, I will not be making updates to my current modes, nor will be engaging much. Again, I am not going away, but need some time to rest. Conflict PvE, WARFARE, and PROJECT WINDWAKE are not going anywhere, and I look forward to next year being filled with surprises!

When you are getting JIP errors, its mostly likely due to either a corrupted MOD or the PvE Mod is corrupted. We can load them on our test server fine with no mods and a fresh download. Best troubleshoot is -

  • Don't use mods older then 1.4
  • Redownload all mods on your server (wiping the Addons folder)
  • Redownload the PvE mode

You will have to override the FactionManager and GameMode yourself. However, these use GRAMPS framework, so I would advise not overriding the FactionManager (if you want to use a custom faction, just reskin the USSR, FIA, and US).

You will have to override the GameMode and FactionManager as GRAMP's framework already overrides it. But yes, if you make a subscene, then override the two .ent for FactionManager and Gamemode, then you can customize them more

Right-click the FactionManger and GameMode_Campaign on your subscene, there should be an override option
