The models to be used within the Arma Conflict servers (Such as Vietnam or Insurgency) :p

Thought i would post some of the models I made here, I'm a bit bad at texturing for now so most of these models are un-textured and get textured later.

P6 Boat (Still a WIP as of the time this was posted)

PTF Boat (Still a WIP as of the time this was posted) Its missing its main armament for now.

OH-6A Helicopter (Finished and textured, to be imported into the game... the renders shown are NOT the final textures and the cat is my girlfriends lol)

This will hopefully be the PAVN boat its based on the P6 torpedo boat which was used during the war

the PBR boat which was used by the VC alot during the war is already in the server and the PTF boat which is used by the Americans is also being made in the photos below it

Currently for texturing I use substance painter and a mix of Maya for UV mapping

I can adivse you to create RGB mask using Substance, it is easier to achieve texturing and you'll be able to use in-engine files

right now the Vietnamese team on Vietnam 67 will (Hopefully) have this boat i mentioned above plus a few little unarmed boats

and the American side has the PBR, and the PTF boats (which is also in the above photo

This is hella cool and this is great I notice you guys focus more on armed things will you guys ever switch focus and start adding logistical vehicles like in arma 3 Vietnam dlc

All the vehicles I model have interiors of varying level of quality depending on how long youd be staring at it lol, the OH6 for example has a full cockpit which i followed real world blueprints to replicate

You can see on my PTF boat I have a fully modeled bridge

And the custom cockpit I made for the OH6

Did you 3d scan it from Arma 3 and will it have different variants like in the dlc like the one with the mg command truck and one with the AA and supply ?

Rn its just this bamboo one, I'm planning on tryna remake all the Arma 3 vehicles and props to reforger but I'm only one guy lol.

I didn't extract any assets from Arma 3, just used it as reference and guidance when I can't find any good references online. All my models are hand made (or heavily edited from bought assets) while running Arma 3 in editor mode so I can spawn any vehicles for reference.

I use a mix of blender, Maya and substance painter for modeling but I do not mod them into the game, other team members in ArmaConflict usually do that 🙂

I just make the art they make it work
