Step into Toretsk, a gritty, post-Soviet urban hellscape plunged deep into the chaos of a brutal civil war. Once an industrial powerhouse, the city now stands fractured — its streets filled with burned-out vehicles, shattered apartment blocks, and the haunting remnants of a nation tearing itself apart.
At its core, Toretsk is ground zero — where factions will clash, loyalties will crumble, and survival is measured by every bullet spent and every shadow crossed.
This initial 3km urban map captures the raw, claustrophobic tension of inner-city warfare — tight alleyways, collapsing infrastructure, and atmospheric decay that tells the story of a society in freefall. But this is only the beginning.
Over time, Toretsk will expand into a 9km environment, introducing new districts, surrounding countryside, and deeper layers of lore that unravel the city’s dark history. Each expansion will add new zones — from abandoned factories and refugee outposts to government checkpoints and militia strongholds — all tied together through environmental storytelling that puts immersion first.
Every broken window, propaganda poster, and bullet-riddled wall has a story to tell.
Toretsk isn’t just a map — it’s a living, breathing world shaped by conflict, decay, and the will to survive.
