Summary
This mod adds some more fortifications to the game. They are made with existing game prefabs. It's WIP so things will change and improve.

Please let me know If you have any additional ideas to make base fortification a bit easier or ideas on how to solve listed issues below.

Current issues

  • If on high walls, bottom sandbags get destroyed, top one keeps floating in the air.
  • They all have the same build time and I will need to find a way to adjust that

Idk about u but imo I'd use the trench prefabs BI already has

And maybe put dunes so u it like blends with terrain etc

Those trenches prefabs would look very nice as compositions if u find a way to make it blend into terrain so it doesn't look weird

Indeed you can place these from construction truck and I also solved issue about overlapping.

I'm guessing this could work in GM as well be really cool for mission makers to have guys build a fob of their own design for a mission.

Its just because these trench models are made to be built into the ground by mapmakers, so they are short on the side. Then you need to extend those edges to the ground with dirt mounds and its not exactly great option😅

Maybe we can get someone to model it, but thats long shot

I mean instead of have a gradually sloping dirt mounds,couldn't we just put sand bags?

So if you load the scenario back after a server restart for example, the compositions loads back as well

There should be a persistence component (called persistence) on the prefab.
Why i ask u this.
I saw yesterday that not all sandbags and walls have the persistence component on them

this could work 😄 ... Now have slightly bended trench, straigh trench and junction trench

As buildables on bases these can only be overlapped slightly with the help of sandbags
