tiny mod (for now) that you can use to do any size building for your maps . you can read more in mods description i hope you enjoy it and i hope it will be helpfull making some amazing locations on your maps !

there are some stuff that is missing like pillar not having bottom polygon but that piece should always be in the ground or in the connector piece so i hope you dont hate me on that , i plan to do more pieces of diffrent type so you will be able to do stuff like office buildings , shopping malls , more modern factories , maybe airport terminals and skyscrapers .

Thank you , its not gonna be soon so dont be hyped for now , on the other hand i will add nore models my plan is to have atleast 30 diffrent models , but who knows maybe even more.

i guess it is better to call the mod this way since its only gonna feature buildings for middle east.

i will probably remove the modular parts , also since this will be only middle east , i will do other regions too so the people wont need to download one huge mod just for the map , who knows how big this will be so i will split it into couple mods

I kept it like this on second , but you can in your map change it , all the textures are in modular bits folder , just type .emat

Its not gonna be soon i dont like to give people hope too early , map right now is like 10% done , untill i hit atleast 90% completion it wont be out.
And even then if i feel satisfied with the result on 90% i will see if its good for release or not

i made ultra low detail for distant Lod so it doesent kill fps so much

the best lod has 41.2k faces and 58k vertices witch is not that crazy should be fine for most people , that big building from vanilla has 120k

the gaps that you can see trough in this building doesent matter since this lod loads when you are far away

only problem is that both sides have same texture i made a mistake but since its only gonna show only one side it aint game breaking , also its like super low detail i think it has 32 polygons on lod 2 and 60-70 on lod0

How heavily do your buildings effect performance in comparison to Vanilla ent?

Buildings are jokingly small comparing to vanila , you see this big building above , it has like 15k polygons and if you take a look on that prefabricated apartment from vanila that big one , it has 120k polygons , my models are nothing to crazy , right now they have good enough detail and texture , but im planing to one day work one new textures and it will make them even better , im dont have much expiriance with uv maps and substance painter im hoping i can either learn that or find someone who would put the time and do textures. I also will make all these models have destruction and other little things that standard objects should have , i experimented yesterday with destruction but it needs alot of tweaks since there are diffrent sizes of models so each requires its own destruction ruin model and effect

There are some buldings that i did furniture for but i switched to empty buildings just an exterior and interior doors and windows and details , so people can use it in bigger cities and if you want to have furniture you can just create a prefabs of furnished buildings and thats it

There will be more models of houses and buildings because this amount now is good but its still gonna be repeated alot in building map , so i want to give people veriety to work with

ye , i will see about that navmesh , because collider is very weird , if you put buildingfireview you have good set up , when you shoot at building there are particles coming out of bullet holes , but you cant drive car inside , and the only collider that works for both partciles and vehicles is buildingfireviewNoNavmesh witch makes ai unable to go trouhgt them , im very annoyed buy this , i mean there is a work around if i split model into different groups so the floow where vehicles will be able to move i need to cut that and make it different colider ....

As long as the AI do not shoot us over walls, and we do not fall over the floor, your buildings will be awesome. Stationary AI is also deadly. If they cannot go up the stairs from ground level to 5th floor, well. So be it. Still clearing them will be awesome.

we played yesterday on some server that hosted the new fallujah and it worked normaly , i also played GM and i spawned like 100 bots and they acctualy go inside buildings and hide there , and peek around corners

so its a big trade but i will look into workaround for vehicles

i mean , i really think its still early in arma reforger for everything to be good enought , i mean its already pretty good , much better than arma 3 in some areas , but i just hope they can make a system that will do that envProbe and soundProbe inisde buildings based on model geometry so people wont need to do 2 separate models for that stuff

ye , every model i do is getting better and better , but there will be the time when im gonna pause with modeling and focuse on doing the components to all the buildings , like that rplcomponent , worldsubscenecomponent and others to make them good and this about the grass that you told me is pretty good info to know , thank you

‼️ ‼️ ‼️ there will be major update because yesterday we found a major problem , and i will need you all to replace all old buildings with new , i will show you how to do quick with ease ‼️ ‼️ ‼️

‼️ ‼️ ‼️ basicly damage system was not setup and buildings were not pulling configuration from base template ,
now all of them will pull and destruction will be off for a period of time till i get time to play around that .‼️ ‼️ ‼️

if you know anyone who uses to mod tell them the news , since i cant @ anyone here

All old buildings will stay for a month , so you all have time to replace it before i remove broken ones.

update out , forgot to add embasssy and 2 ruined construction models will be tomorrow , for now replace all the existing ones with new ones , there is folder "USE_THIS_new_buildings and use objects only from there

No glazing but if you launch your map it will break numbers because im from the ME and every time someone does a GWOT map it's either Mud huts or skyscrapers. Hats off to you sir 👏🏼

‼️ ‼️ ‼️this is announcment to everyone , you have to replace all the old buildings with new from the folder "USE_THIS_New_buildings" . the old ones will stay in mod for a month so you all have time to replace all your stuff . ‼️ ‼️ ‼️

you need to select one object and old ones should have either "doorWin" or "empty" or just nothing , they all need to be replaced with ones from the folder "USE_THIS_New_buildings".

these ones on the picture have "WinDoor" thats the new ones , and if you are replacing old ones with new ones they have that on the end you are doing good .

Oh it's good very realistic layout compared to major ME cities but you should work on Ai navigation and pathfinding because it's very much non existent, very good stuff and keep it coming 👏🏼

Why ? Most milsims use Ai in their gameplay, and not to offend you but it simply wouldn't work without navmesh people don't like open fields and urban pvp

Im gonna start MES part 2 , since this one is ~500mb, i think in part 2 i can do even more stuff because i dont have to make new textures in it and can just pull from part one

I would understand if not, it just means GM would have to build it and pray the server doesn't restart with all the progress they put in
