Map has been updated. I was able to remove three dependencies. Which helped a lot with the over file size. City is being worked on still to adjust. Tomorrow I will start on random town/villages

If you guys load up the map you will need RHS Terrain to load up the buildings. I need to add it as a main dependency.

Publishing new updates now. Some of the villages need to be modified. Interior and Doors are out of place. I work on it when I get time.

Update:

More villages are placed. I’m aware of one village that is messed up with interior, it’s already been corrected. Waiting to finish some caves up tonight and there will be another update tomorrow.

One Bridge up the road the FOB Heart is placed. Another near outpost 17.

City area has work that need to be done. More building placement along with sidewalks etc.

Coming next update.

Caves with interior lights and prefabs.

More roads getting to these more remote locations.

Adding more small villages and tree outlines.

Started working on a pier near FOB Heart.

Trying to get the map to show roads and location names.

Lots of updates.

Map is redone and working. Locations and Roads now show.

Some villages were reworked, New military training ground was made, as well as road getting there and couple more bridges. Going to work in the Moutain valley area next and bring those villages more to life next.

I would it’s pretty solid to go check it out for a video if you would like. We ran a full OP last night on it and there was almost no hiccups. One of the caves we were seen you can sorta see the red lights from the light side so I need to dim them more and it isn’t fully up against the mountain side so players can slip through. Besides that it’s a solid base. Side walks, terrain placement like grass and gravel etc need to be touched up. Some more villages need to be placed and the mountain valley has a road through it. So little hunts and such will be placed there in the next few days.

Started adding grass to the moutains.

Extended the river

Finished the road to Outpost 17

Started working on Outpost 11 but noticed some flaws

Military training area that had all the stumps and rocks in the road have been removed.

A lot of road work.

Updates:

More road adjustments. Along with crash barriers.

Started adding rock to areas that were just had painted rock.

Started placing active antenna towers around the map. They do have limited distances in them.

Couple “wrecked” props around the mountains (Blackhawk, Chinook, UAV Reaper Drone.)

Outpost 11 has been fixed and completed.

Bith outpost have from gates and more Hesco

Updates:

More street lights have been added.

Rocks have been added to most of the parts that were painted rock.

Surrounding edges of the map have mountains.

Snow caped some of the mountain peaks.

Added a new point of interest.

Next will be finish placing main towns down.

Redoing most of the city to finally complete it. Sidewalks, walls etc.

Update:

Added a fuel and helo arsenal ranges to FOB Heart.

outpost 17 antenna has been disabled. People were saying they were getting a lot of crashes near that part of the map so I got rid of it and haven’t heard of any complaints.

Working on expanding the village/ town that’s up near that area as well. Once that is complete I will be focusing on two or three other locations before I finally hunker down and get that city how it should be.

Big update coming tomorrow or Monday. City is getting a make over, some mountains are finally starting to get shaped, rock added to them and terrain added.

City has been 90% redone. Finer details will start to be added in next

Military area got updated, CQB training poster on the entry wall, upper firing platform added. As well as woods. Trench warfare added in that upper area as well.

Added a whole underground cave system that leads to a two 4 story buildings within it.

Trees in some areas were removed and fixed. There may be too many lights for night time. still testing. If anyone notices it as well let me know.

Areas are getting reworked, I ended up getting rid of 2 dependencies.

I cant make everyone happy but in order to make most happy and to see things everyone wants to see, everyone has to accept the size of the map with its dependencies.

A bit of advice, careful with the lighting - my training map got FPS tanked and had to adjust the lightning setting alot just to make it run smooth

This is about to get a complete face lift. I got rid of a 2.0g of a Dependence and I about to look into files as to why my map has such a large gigs to it. It shouldnt go past 2gs. So still WIP but 90% gonna get redone in the next month.

Yea, think its common mistake - but mine is really low - because I use alot of fog to cover the bad sat map lol

Here is another trick - put the numbers really low - save and do your mapping thing: Loading, saving and so on is so much faster and when you're done, pump up the numbers again to what you want

Map has been published.

Updates:
Map went from 3.3g to 900mb

Arma Terrain Core was removed which removed another 1.9g

Mosque is fully done

All village locations have been redone and completed.

City has been redone. Next will be small stuff (prop, sidewalks etc)

All FOB have been redone. Adding heli pad at Outpoasr 17.

FOB Heart was reworked a little

Military training base CQB & firing range got reworked a little. Added a grenade throwing range. Indoor CQB and firing range are still being worked.

I think I’m gonna dabble with making a PVE. Just haven’t taken the time to learn it yet.

100% unsure. It’s definitely playable and most main point of interest are down. I’m sure I’ll add more as time goes on.

AI works smoothly at least from my knowledge. My team did two months on it with no problems where we operated. I will say they will struggle in the back side of the military training area cause I had to make one really tight turn to make it work

Fixings happening tomorrow,

Floating Rocks & plants

Some roads are to high

Signs I had place when testing and never got rid of; will be deleted.

I noticed some buildings are sitting to high. Some building destroy with one bullet. And some platforms within the city need to have terrain checked, I kept going through them.

Mountains will start being worked on (shaping, adding rocks, and different kinds of brush/trees)

Added some barb wire to the main base and FOB around the map.

Going to start added small random houses and farm land throughout the region.
