It will work if you place MapEntity into the your world, which is not present in the map by default.

thats fine, people add it to their world, the base world shouldnt have a map entity any way in case people want to have different map edits/layouts
Unfortunately, this is not correct. Look at how all the cards from Bohemia are implemented.
it is correct, the bohemia way is limiting and was setup like that for themselves, if you want to physically edit the layout and add new buildings then you cant have the map entity in the base layout
If this is really a common case then override it
or else you would need seperate mods for each conflict layer etc, if you override it you override it for all of your layouts which doesnt work
On the other hand, you may be right, but in my case it is not clear which MapEntity to reference.
or else you wouldnt be able to use separate topology on different map layers, either way it doesnt change anything because all of the maps using zarichne have the map entity on the layers that need it (all the WCS maps are setup like that)
it just gives people more flexibility
Okay. I'll make my own for unsupported maps now and put it in the addon. If someone wants to use it, let them put it in the world.
the map entity prefab is in the base map mod which is the important part for ensuring these gps overlays work, thats the most important part, so if you do it for those maps it will already work on the current maps that are being used on several servers, if that is your main concern
neither is approach is perfect, just different goals in the end

Can you add the WCS Serhiivka map to your GPS Layers set? I tried to generate it using the plugin, but I get an error... Only the map (photo) is generated.

These maps apply to all RHS systems, for example, DAGR, ORION maps on vehicles such as K-17, T-14, etc.

Hi, I'm on vacation, so I can't check. In theory, the functionality isn't related to RHS. If it works there, then the layers should work too.
@junior egret Hi. The map doesn't work on KunarProvince. I also created an entity for Kolguev, created rastdata and vectordat files using the rhs plugin, and the map still doesn't work. Can you describe the process of adding new maps?
BIS didn't create MapEntity_Kolguev, so there's a default one, I don't know if it will work.
