heyo. downloader #16 right here. I honestly don't really know what to expect with it, I've just got a lot of friends wanting it added to the VC side of the vietnam server we play. Its going to have competition from 71rnd PPSH and 50rnd thompson. It should be good to get added as long as its not OP af, but if it is I'll just keep that to myself.

Yes unfortunately I don't know how to make a script for compatibility with bacon, but I am in the process of fixing it so that mat49 goes into the game's arsenal !

you basically just override a vanilla inventoryitems config, and add it in there with the arsenal-tag-thingy

here's a bit from one of my mods as an example, you dont need to create your own multi-list, you can just shove it into one of the pre-existing ones and it will show up in the arsenal, as long as it has the 'Arsenal Data' thing

Just wondering cuz something seemed off about the textures like they’re receiving light weirdly and end up really dark in shadows

Yes, the left side of the mat-49 is much darker, but the problem comes from the 3D model. I will look into it in the coming weeks.

Liek even in this pick the barrel shroud is reflecting light sharply almost like either the texture has been darkened in workbench post import or maybe the metal map got turned up

Yeah might just be in blender it came with two materials perhaps just gotta delete one and apply the other one to all the faces

I believe it was the M65 Uniform from the PE Vietnam Uniform Pack, plus the Bandolier rig from that same mod. Helmet is just the base M1 helmet

Wanted to say that your mod page for the MAS49 is one of the overall most aesthetically pleasing and informative of any mods I can remember taking a look at. Well lit pictures showing all the content followed by a description of weapon, attachments, ammo and history. I'm used to 5 word description and image thats just the first poorly angled screenshot someone took at night and cluttered with nonsense.

Yes, first of all I had the game for a year and downloaded a number of mods that are poor in description and photos, whereas when you have to post your mod you have to make it desirable so people can download it and play with it :/
