Thread for community members to submit questions and/or request for the upcoming Arma Reforger Boot Camp on audio (late February).

  • Changes in sound over distance similar to sound shaders in Arma 3
  • 3D audio and spatialization
  • Multiple sounds from a set of sounds (like 3 types of explosion sounds for a grenade for example)
  • Attaching sounds so that they follow the parent object
  • Pitch/timing modification
  • Looping series of sounds (example: an electrical sound has a start, a loop segment, and an end; all separate files but work together)
  • Audio occlusion and obstruction
  • Modifying footstep sounds
  • Event trigggered sounds
  • Seemless transitions
  • Environmental sounds in world building
