i removed partially created files but it ends up back here. i searched broadly in the discord but don't see a clear solution mentioned in the past

even tried starting the server as root but the results are the same

Downloading mods on server is always painful, tried and tested a lot of things, fragmentizer error are unavoidable.

I recalled having this specific write error, due to lack of available drive space.

In general, I avoid to download too many mods in the same time, it always conclude on a fragmentizer error and force you to delete all failed downloads.

If I flushed all my addons folder, either I add them bit by bit on the config.json or download them on client side and push the files on server.

As for steamcmd, it is only used to download the game / server binaries. Steamcmd does not handle addons download, it is done by the game itself.

i ended up refactoring my mod set and totally redoing everything, but it's fine now.

was so frustrated i gave up on trying to understand, as the errors are so inconsistent. all i know is moving forward i will avoid listing any dependencies in the config. i was playing around with stuff last night and can't even recall what i installed lol

if this happens again i'm going to migrate it to a staging server and try to figure out wft is really going on and some kind of workflow. i get there will be conflicts, but that along with no documentation and the terse errors made me give up
