🌍 Project Banov for Arma Reforger [4]

Hello everyone!
I’m excited to share that I’ve started working on Banov, a new map project for Arma Reforger [4]. Some of you might recognize Banov from DayZ, where it became very popular and built a strong community.

Banov is a map inspired by Slovakia, offering a unique environment, interesting locations, and an immersive atmosphere. This time, I’m rebuilding it from the ground up to take full advantage of what Arma Reforger has to offer.

🌍 WHAT IS BANOV?

Welcome to Banov, a brand-new map currently in development, inspired by the diverse Slovak landscape, specifically the Banov District and its surroundings. Work on this map has just begun, but it already promises an incredible survival experience across a massive 256 km² area, filled with endless opportunities for exploration and adventure.

🗝️ Planned Features:

• 1 city and 35 unique villages with detailed designs.
• 2 water reservoirs, 1 large airport, and 2 small airports.
• Numerous points of interest, including mysterious dwellings and hidden locations for brave explorers to uncover.
• 4 large underground complexes, rich with storylines, challenges, and rewards, essential for the map's narrative.

🧭 A True Survival Experience:

Banov will offer a unique survival atmosphere:
🌲 Explore dense forests, overgrown meadows, swamps, and wild rivers, experiencing the beauty of the Slovak wilderness.
🌦️ Prepare for unpredictable weather, where sunny days can quickly turn into storms, keeping you on edge.

💀 A Test of Courage and Skill:

The map will feature hidden locations and underground complexes, adding layers of mystery and thrill. Only the bravest and most strategic players will uncover all its secrets.

🚨 Development of Banov has just started for the upcoming ARMA 4 and possibly DayZ 2! Some of you may already know this map from DayZ, but now it’s being completely reimagined for new experiences and a fresh setting!
