Making a custom persistence mod for zeused campaigns. Extended use cases may vary.
Persistent Players:
- Records are keyed by player steam id + optional side and role
- Toggleable Position Persistence
- Whitelisted player load-in positions
- Toggleable Medical Persistence
Persistent Objects:
- Persistent Pylons, Ammo, Inventory/Cargo, Damage, Fuel
- Persistent Position
Persistent Inventory API
- Saveable and Loadable inventories.
- Great for player lockers. Can be static through 3den modules or dynamic if you write a script for "claiming"/loading a player's locker into an object
Persistent Variables
- Can register variables on players, objects, and in the missionNamespace to be saved and loaded
- A simple example is if you had wanted to create a persistent currency, you could register a player variable to be saved that would have the player's currency amount
3den Preview
- Ability to generate objects that offer a preview where persisted objects/players are at
- Vehicles with pylons are recreated
- Objects spawn in with their saved inventory
- Units with player names to show where they are saved + loads with their current loadout
No steam link yet. But it will be coming out within the next few days. Wrote all this over the last week (bless my fleeting sanity) and I am finishing debugging now.
It will be released into beta as I won't have used it for any missions yet.
