The RAH-66 Comanche was a prototype stealth attack/reconnaissance helicopter initially meant to partially replace the fleet of AH-64 helicopters in use by the U.S. Army. While the program was canceled due to cost, I personally love the design and mission set - so I set forth to bring it to life in Arma Reforger.

As time goes on I plan on bringing the model to parity with it's real life design goals. Those are as follows:

Avionics:
Tactical Situation Displays with artificial horizon, instrument information, armament, map overlay, and picture in picture FLIR/NVG display.

Speed/Maneuverability:
160 knot cruise speed, max speed 170 knots
Very agile based on pilot testimonial and video research.

Armament:

  • Air-to-air Stinger
  • Hellfire
  • 20mm three-barrel turreted gun
  • Hydra-70 rockets

I assume its bought model? If you are moddeling it yourself, keep in mind that you have prototype model without actual sensors right now

Fidelity was pretty good, and I understand that sentiment. Making the sensors (or copying them from the Chinook) will give me a good project to work on later on.

Enemy Engaged: Commanch vs Havoc had this modeled correctly but its very old game. Mostly modellers are doing combat variants from what I see
