Yeah for now, I will release a separate addon that mod creators can use to add to there own vehicles so I do not have add a heap of dependencies to this mod.

I'll also try and make the Mi8 hold some vehicles

Honestly homie if you can get the Razr or other Vic’s like that you’re in another playing field. The ability to actually do Air Assault I have been waiting for.

I have my base scripts now, it's really just waiting for the right vehicles to do it with, if anyone has a hemett style truck or any type of flat bed, hmu I'd love to add this mod to it

The obvious stipulation is the HMMV wouldn’t be able to be armed.

During transport. But truthfully this kind of Air transport is to get the infantry in the battle space with increased mobility, so honestly that shouldn’t be an issue. Add this with the ability to sling load Hermano and you have a win on so many levels it’s not even funny

UPDATE 1.0.7

Finally out, please take note of some issue's.

Added:

  • Mi8MT
    • Most Russian and civ vehicles enabled.
  • Chinook
    • Added US and Civ vehicles
    • NOTE: Please be cautious of the US jeep as it for some reason does not like being loaded, working on the fix.

Removed:

  • The need for a secondary component on vehicles to see if it 'towable'.

Fixed:

  • Vehicle now moves as it should while being transported, no more "Lagging/Desyncing" behind the helicopter.

Known Issues:

  • US jeeps can cause the helicopter to act erratic, causing the Heli to blow up or fly away.
  • While loading the vehicle with someone in it can cause the person who is loading it to not correctly see the vehicle that is loaded.
    • I believe the loader will need to get in and get out of the car for it to reset.

Any Issues please provide feedback. I will probably move away from dependencies and just make it standalone. This way server owners are not reliant on having the Chinook mod and can apply the towing to which ever vehicle they please. That being said, if any creators are interested in making a flatbed truck please HMU would love a nice looking tow vehicle.

If any server owners are wondering how to apply it to more vehicles in Reforger tools please contact me and I will assist.

The list is apart of the helicopter prefab, in reforger tools. It a component call "Load attachment"

@pulsar crow - Ill tag you but also put a work in for everyone else to use for there transport helis if they want.

so there are 3 parameters that you can do, never really tested more than one slot but let me know:

GG_LoadAttachment: - Needs to be present on the Towing vehicle.

  1. Is the prefab list of vehicles that can be towed: They have to be added for it to be attached.

  2. Takes the slot name from the "SlotManager" and applies it to that slot (make a entityslot, and define the pointinfo for where to attach the vehicle)

  3. searches the radius set, if a prefab from the the list in [1.] is found, it will attach it.

GG_DetachVehicleAction & GG_LoadVehicleAction Are the user actions to load and unload the prefabs. you will have to define them.

Thats pretty much it. I know there is a few bugs. mainly around people getting in and someone loading the vehicle and also if someone is in the vehicle when you crash.

So, warning - DON'T GET IN

I have a question about the H-47 mod. Does it come prepared? Meaning, do I load it onto my server and can I assemble the vehicles or do I have to do it from the workbrench?
