I've got a Fallujah PVE @remote tulip if you are still looking for one
@vapid torrent with update 2.5.0 (or it might have been 2.4.0) i heavily reduced the distance at which AI will spawn.
If you were anywhere inside of the city, the entire city would basically spawn. So Gramps' distance he used for Everon doesn't work great here, especially the 2X mode. This technically might make scouting and sniping not a great experience. I might need to increase the distance a tad so let me know
so x1 works good currently?

vehicles seem to be spawning from too far away is the main issue I'm tracking fyi. looking into that one

I'd personally consider it WIP but definitely still fun and chaotic

But ya with any of Gramps' mod you want to stick in one big group. If you have people too spread out it will still cause lag

@topaz quarry you didnt get all ussr, the special forces spawn naked. when you think it would be updated?
was better and im not sure about the LODS on the map itself but i still see a bit of the distance spawn. you can see my icon in blue
not sure if thats the best that can be done distance wise. overall i have a fairly new comp but it struggles with fallujah
its a vics thing, also like that in everon 2.0,

the ai that are ment to stay in vics seem to stay even when im distanced
right. but if you look at the tv tower and the forest top left. if possible they should likely be closer... again though... if its running fine for you guys it might just be me... with the same settings i get everon fine but fallujah has a lot of frame drops and low fps for me
It's some strange "feature". Last Dallas PvE I put up on the server anytime you spawned in a special forces they would be pants less
whats the point of spending all the time shaving your ankles if you don't show it off

One reported issue but cannot point towards your mod rn is enemy armor was approached and caused a hard crash. Unknown if it’s yours due to other mods being loaded but thought I’d leave this here

I think I've noticed that too, but wasn't sure. Sorry very new to modding. I am removing Vics until I can test this further. 2.5.5 should have Vics removed
Had to do with another mod. All good
Gotchaa, I was still getting some weird errors from the vics that could have easily caused crashes, so going to investigate before adding them back

Did anything change with Fallujah? Cant start the scenario puts the server in a crash loop
or its stuck trying to instantiate the scenario
No, running the latest version fine on my end. If you're running other mods might want to start from vanilla with my mod and work up from there
I think you’ve left global supply usage off.
Yeahhh, still working on setting up supply points and default supply amounts so left it disabled by default for now
have you thought about a Kunar version?
Yeah I want to do a lot of maps, but want to get everything ironed out on this one, still new to this

Fallujah PVE Conflict 2.6.0 has been released - Large vehicle update for the City.
Let me know what you think, this should add a good bit of chaos.
Update has also been pushed for Taliban Mod conversion for Civys and Spetznaz @stoic geode
It appears vehicles in the city are not working as expected. Expect an update for that tonight
works now, its pretty good. Are you doing a 2x ai variant like you did for Fallujah?
eventually ya, putting my focus into fallujah right now as it seems to be a bit more popular
ah okay, personally really liking chenarus because of its size, so even with many Ai units it does not lag the server too much cause the points are really spaced out. Fallujha with 1X AI and about 30-35 players sent the server fps down to single digits
2.6.2 Fallujah has been released, should completely fix AI Vehicle logic in the city.
I'll give Chernarus a once over
This must be a mod confliction. As my server runs this since we found it and don't really encounter these issues. We had somewhat of lag until we fucked around w our mods and figured it out

Average 20 highest we've gotten on the current game mode is I think 36
Someone might crash every now and then. But it's because they've admitted they have bad wifi , or there caught wondering off by themselves from the group

I couldn't tell you. My JSON has been changed completely to finally meet proper stability
If you'd like to DM me I can send you server information and you can just compare the mods on my server maybe it could better assist

would love to see the same vibe of your fallujah Conflict on kunar with the taliban, counter attacks, and the civilians using the taliban mod.
Fallujah is still on the top of the list, probably Worthy Islands next and then Kunar

Supply is now turned on by default. Supply points have now been set up.
Fixed more vehicle bugs. Changed some routes.
Added an OBJ at a Mosque in the city.
Many random fixes and optimizations

3.0.0 might be scuffed, possible server crash. Investigating now, recommend to use 2.5.8 for the time being

I would suggest ramadi Iraq because it’s 10x10 and fully updated boys are loving the vibe. Plus the time fits from fallujah on 2004 to Iraq 2006….

@tropic orchid With Gramps' mod it is in the AmbientPatrolSystem file
I just added these 2 lines to statically set the spawn distances:
m_iDespawnDistanceSq = 335000;
3.0.6 has been pushed, it's possible the crashes are fixed. I have also added 2 other scenarios that just remove the vehicles from the mission as a possible fix as well.
Sorry about the chaos grenade here. quite a struggle to troubleshoot this one

where those variables comes from? m_iSpawnDistanceSq and m_iDespawnDistanceSq
are these global variables or something? they are not params in the method
it is a part of gramps stuff called elsewhere in his mod
hmm, they are part of the interface patrols
is this distance in meters?
185km to spawn AI?
I believe it is in meters squared. So if you take the square root of the number that should be the meters

any chance that you know the default vaules of these variables?
It is set somewhat dynamically, but spawn distance is around 1km normally I believe
so spawn is like 1000000 by default, ok, thx
