The wording is certainly weird to say the least but I don't believe this contains to the actual content just what's displayed on the mod page with some exceptions I say this as the blood just 2 mod was a thing if all of it was followed well we wouldn't have much if at all any mods on the workshop lol the animals I could see being problematic but will see if it's to divisive I'll just remove it

Yeah I don’t see blood being much of an issue considering there was the visceral blood mod which just made being shot even more graphic,
Plus dead bodies are a very common thing in a shooter game so I can’t see those really being a concern

Made some pretty good progress today with some new additions like Ivy vines and some optimizations to the models
Some other cool things you can do with the decals (And yes the decals do work on doors when they swing open 🙂 )

I can make some of lootable containers but someone would have to script them to spawn lot

IS this used somewhere in game I can't find any component called random loadout
I also added in my buddy as a picture who passed away last year this will be in a different mod called community graves where people can add any loved one(s) who passed away to it will be on github for anyone to access I will also have prefab that you can use to add any voiced .wav file if you want to say anything about them so players can click on there graves and learn a little about them 😄

I've managed to make my work flow rather quick with some blender add-ons and not to mention I had all ready been working on a lot of this in the past 😅 props are quick and easy like 10 mins I can have it's full implemented weapon and armors on the other can take take me days lots of setup and testing

Was reworking how the glowstick or chemlights work since the light I was using wouldn't follow the chemlight if moved so I added the new flare type to it and looks pretty good however well doing some testing I actually broke it and than created this lovely effect you see now

But I'd rather mods have as little or no dependencies, or at least for them to be small
Could theoretically make another version of the mod with RHS to appease both sides given it even happens. Either way, i just want the spook
The only downside there is then it would restrict that demographic who don’t. Then it would be “either use RHS or don’t have horror immersion” the pitch of a separate variant with an RHS dependency sounds a lot better than locking the mod away from servers that don’t run it.

The content won't be a whole lot just what I showed off apart from a few things I'll add in later I'm just a little busy today and had to make a complete new mod called crocells workshop of horror so some of the transfers i didn't get in time but for me it's going to be long weekend so expect a lot more this week 😉 but I will also look into RHS I don't need to use a dependency to get ito to work just a new folder called RHS so if you don't have it it just won't work when you place it but if you do it will show up

If you are struggling figuring out how to get those prefabs into gm i can share some pics on how to do it
sure asnything helps I'm looking at the wiki right now it's still a little confusing lol
First off, you need to override EditorModeEdit. This is where you include your prefabs so they show up in the GM.
You just need to add one more entry to this array and put your prefab in, like you see in the image.
Next, you need to override EditableEntityCore.conf to tell the entity finder which filter you want your placeables under. I made my own filter in this case, but you can use any existing filter.
In case you're interested, to make your own filter, you'd have to modify SCR_EEditableEntityLabel.c, assigning a random number, like this
One last thing, make sure your prefabs have the following component, and either configure it under an existing label or with the custom one you created by modifying the previous script.

So I've been trying to get the decals to be placeable in GM with not much luck I will continue to try but I'm going to continue to work on other things

ive looked around the workshop for some Bugs / Beasts / Zombie mods , arma would be perfect for it , but sadly none are there

Ai is a whole other system to learn so can't say mine would be all that great the next major thing I'll be working on in the future is limb damage so high cailber rounds will blow legs and arms and heads off or if they sustain a good amount of damage to said limb

I recall last time I tried using a “fixed” version of a zombie mod the AI weren’t hostile and would just stand around like the civilian AI

this would at least make them engage things, unarmed characters are kinda like civvies waiting for someone to shoot them

Going to wait till next week (Hopefully) to push an update this will add some extra garbage you can place around your maps with some destruction to it so people can shoot garbage bags or the litter scattered around to remove it or if a grenade goes off it will just fling garbage everywhere lol but also wanted to move this to corpses as well so they will kinda explode into bones of course there will be two options static and destructible
sneak peak at the scattered garbage pretty well optimized so should not effect player performance all that much

Hello everyone I've moved into my new place however I woke up with a broken neck well not quite but feels like it pitched a nerve so taking it easy well it recovers so I will push what I have no real improvements to the GM yet but I've added a few world editor placeable to hold everyone over till I'm back to working on the mod again

yea the other one is bugged and I can't remove it for some reason
I do have to fix the mod as a lot of stuff is use rpl and that causes some pretty big server preformance issues so I'll be remove that and fixing up a few things

I know you said you were working on blood decals, is there any ETA as to when we see that entering the CWOH pack? Felt amazing seeing all of these things come to fruition but the applicable use of some of these models is quite limited unless you wanna plaster the same models over and over again around the map

@brittle pollen Did you rework the config file and add it back to the GM configs? It seems like the items are in the files, but are unlisted.
hmm not that i'm aware of I pretty sure i just disabled the RPL and just re-enabled it but i'll check with the configs later I just don't have alot of time to work on the gm side I only really get to somewhat work on it on the weekends if i'm not doing anything else
I mean no offense by this: But what is the purpose of the mod without bringing these assets to GM? They are unusable for 90% of the population unless you intend to make a mission with these items.
And sad to say; a very small minority of players are utilizing the Workbench. - So without the items being pushed to GM, might aswell unlist this and push it to a Hidden Mod.

It was originally made for map makers and Scenario map makers the thing with GM is it's not ment to be permanent placement of objects with GM using lots of RPL I'm sure it's not very good for the server and probably why originally GM wasn't planned well Zeus that is

The fix puts the GM placeables back in, but know that the mod is truly unfinished and more centered on map making. ~85% of it is map making assets, and it is a large download for that in terms of xbox players. Still cool, just be warned
It will come back to gm ill fix what I have so far eventually more will come just isn't the main priority right now gm takes longer to setup and all that I'm sure there's away to automate it but haven't figured that out yet lol
There is a tool at the main menu;
do Plugins, Prefabs, Validate Prefabs to check their compatibility
do Plugins, In-game Editor, Register Placeable Entities to assign them slots in the config,
which should then be inserted into GM as a modded editor mode using the prefab EditorModeEdit.et as a replacement of the file
In the EditorModeEdit.et, you have to add the .conf created with your placeable entities register into the SCR_PlacingEditorComponent here:
every time you change ANY of the prefabs, you need to repeat the process. You can edit prefabs separately to have their own images and preview models, which should just be their base .xob i think. Whichever one you use to assign the collision, if your models have them
