Cuz it has a turret but none of the components are turret related

what exactly are you attempting to make?, im assuming a turret that moves with the MG, your best bet is trying to understand how the bones work on the turret, and then rigging up the MG to the turret, One option is to copy the bones from the vanilla turret to your own and copy the components as well and go from there
