New Civilian Factions mod for all your needs.
Also includes the new randomized kit feature for randomized characters

Includes civilian and militia factions with different types and varieties of civilians based on their clothes.

Adds:

  • Afghan Civilians
  • Generic Civilian Faction
    (Both with the clothing models from the Taliban Mod and MEP Civil.)
  • Randomized Civilians and Militia in all factions.
  • Militia Faction, friendly to base game factions and civilians except for FIA.

All factions include Armed Variants.
Over 25 different variants for the generic civilian faction and more will be added.
Ten different Afghan Civilian variants.
Ten Armed variants of both factions.

Possible future updates will include assets for civilian interaction, more variation and making ToH ReCharacters as a dependency for more faces/identities.
I don't have a timeline and will work on it whenever I want.

Requires MEP Civil, Taliban Mod and Zeliks Character.

I have 10 variants but some share clothes so I want to get new 3d models, that way I might even be able to remove the taliban mod dependency

They don't do the same thing, but I do like your take on the old cop cars 🙂

My mod was released more than a month ago, way earlier than yours, with around 35 civilian variants, set up on 3 factions

This last update is the one that includes the modern cops on top of that, plus some other models

Your first messages kinda felt like you were insinuating that I copied you, I assume it's not that, or at least no longer that since you now know this mod has been up for a while longer than yours and with a lot more content from before, so all good 🙂

Did you do it through prefab? I had major issues with just overriding the material so I had to do it with prefabs, just wondering if you had the same issue

Quick recap of the current content for tracking purposes

  • Middle Eastern civilian faction based on the Taliban Mod's clothes with both armed and unarmed civilians
    (Around 10 civilian variants in this faction)

  • European inspired civilian faction based on both vanilla and MEP's clothes, also includes armed and unarmed civilians.
    (Around 25 civilian variants)

  • Militia faction, combining all armed variants of the previous civilians.

  • Two police officers, one modern, one old soviet style.

  • Two police car retextures, S105 and UAZ, one for european style, another with arab writing

  • Nokia Detonator

More items will be added eventually, also uniforms as soon as I start learning a bit more how to rig them properly.

I have noticed when running your mod and other faction adjustment mods; vehicles seem to be mislabelled and sometimes brought into a entirely different faction.

EXAMPLE: All helicopters turn into Sarka's when running your mod and other faction mods, I assume they are conflicting.

Ya it sadly had to be removed because GMs complained about having to play the faction guessing game. But I loved utilizing these new Civs and other items.

I run it in my unit with around 50 mods and haven't run into that

After my workday I will send out our current modlist, this only happens when your mod is loaded; after we removed it the issue was gone.

Should it be loaded before or after certain faction mods?

Can deduce that as the root cause as MEP is right at the top of the list and Taliban is before your mod.

I've had the issue you mentioned with other mods so I imagine it's either some weird common error or idk

It usually fixes itself after rejoining with those mods

I can also confirm that rejoining or trying to remove the mods and redownload them didn't fix the issue, this was over the course of two weekends of trying the mod and we tried that to troubleshoot.

I suspect this is due to us running other faction mods, as it seemed when I would click a faction it was the wrong one, and the vehicles displayed in GM were all wrong and different than what they were titled.

(Example: I would try to utilize the USAF Faction with RHS and it would be the US Faction - if you tried spawning a UH helicopter it was a Sarka, but if you spawned a Sarka on the civ side it was a UH.

I have removed the Bindport/bindaddress field so that may seem abit off to you, this is how the modlist is laid out. I added back your Civ mod to where I originally had it in the mod load order. Hopefully this allows you to possibly provide some sort of resolution, but a lot of these mods in here are used across multiple units so I think this is effecting more than just me.

No luck, after adding your mod back with GM FX at the top and spawning vehicles everything is back out of whack again. US Faction turns into Civ Faction.

New mod, adds the middle eastern civilians back with improvements
I retextured some uniforms for more variety and ofc, we have the middle eastern police vehicle retexture

Issue with the random vehicle spawn is fixed
I made the mod separate on purpose since I still use the Taliban Mod for the midddle eastern uniforms so this way if people want to load just the "Western" civilians they don't have to override the FIA faction with the Taliban Mod

I doubt I'll update this mod further, it was more to fill in while we got proper civilian vehicles and stuff like that

@vale basin why do the armed civilians break in half when they are shot ? Like there torso Falls, but their legs will stay, and then some of them when they’re walking their feet are not in line with their pants and their waist is not in line with the rest of their torso ?

We use them as the Cartel on our Server, because the only other cartel Mod we have found is like 1.8GB, so maybe a small cartel MOD that takes place if the FIA as a reskin like the Taliban mod would be cool

You have another mod somewhere that causes that stuff
That is not on me, I've been changing some stuff on the mod just yesterday and it works just fine

I recommend checking your other mods before complaining about something that is not caused by mine

Dude I was not complaining, I was asking a question, this is a new mod to me and I wasn’t sure if it was it or something else its why I came here to the direct source instead of asking in a general chat, I have ran into several broken mods in this game and I was making sure it wasn’t something wrong with it, I came here so if others had an issue they didn’t bash the mod, and so I could get a direct answer, so I’m sorry if it came off like I was blaming you or being hostile or criticizing, cause I wasn’t meaning it that way, so I’m sorry for that

If you ever get board and want to do a Cartel looking characters that reskin and/or replace the FIA that’s not 1.8 Gs plus another 5 dependents would be AWESOME!!

I have an idea for the different roles of each of them you ever decide to let me know, I think would work great!!!!

Howdy! I know this is a mod conflict issue, but I'm hoping others have ran into it to help me troubleshoot. Plus posting justttt in case it is a known issue.

The middle eastern civilians have no heads. Any ideas of what mod may be causing the conflict?

My mod seems to be a bit borked due to using MEP Civil, I'll have to fix that eventually
