as I said the mod is in its very early stages and I'll update the model and textures as soon as possible. just gotta figure out how to fix the issues with the colliders first.
Perhaps contact Strider about it? Since he does have a Heli-Carrier
i will try to get with him. I also want to get working elevators and perhaps a catapult.

Im just now starting to learn how to use he workbench so it might take a while to actually be done but a static prop can be done relatively easy
end goal is to make it flyable using the a10 as a base. but again expect jank lol

funny issue someone brought to my attention, trying to spawn the Soviet command post spawns in the carrier. I'll try to fix it on Monday when I round up the other issues.

yeah lol, it should be under props > military > XL. I will try to get bring it the gm menu without inheriting the small sand pile. when I do it will be under the vehicle tab instead so it's easier to find

yeah mines about 333m (~1000ft) so striders might be 290 ish.
has anyone tested if the a10 can land on it on MP? or does it desynch like the helis do?
updating and troubleshooting new update.
- prop now doesn't depend on small dirt pile to exist. so no more spawning carrier instead of USSR command post.
- changed so now carrier spawns in the "vehicle > us" GM filter instead of props.
- changed collisions so hopefully no more desynchronization will happen.
will start working on updating the model and textures to be more visually appealing. || and adding in static aircraft props to populate scenes||
Being able to individually place down the jet props would be great as well for filling in Airfields
I have a couple of low poly jets without cockpits that should serve decently as props. if not I'll just scrap the idea. I do plan on a far future to have a fully functional carrier and flyable jets using redlines A-10 as a base. but that's dreaming out loud
for now I'm focused on getting the carrier on a usable state for milsimming
idk why the textures are broken in game.. it wasnt like that in the workbench... ill try to fix later

I will say, if you plan on placing this as a prop on the carrier, please leave some room on the deck for helicopters if you can
Mortalis’s Naval 160th Helicopter will look great on it
it will be a separate prop. maybe a separate mod with only aircraft props
Are there versions with the gear up? Mainly so people (me) can take photos of them “mid-flight”
Also has the shadow issue been looked at to be fixed on the carrier?
I'm gonna be honest I overlooked that completely lol. I'll add it sometime. and for the carrier I tried everything and can't seem to find the issue but I'm still looking to fix it

touchdown on landing was alittle further then it needed to be but its VERY do-able!
I hope to be able to have l carrier based aircraft we can fly, it would be so cool to taxi aircraft on an Aircraft Carrier deck
I do plan on making the f-18 flyable, but I may need some help
The a10 flying scrips are free from redline core according to the mod description, they were made by Big Ben, SpaceStrider, and Adam so that may be a great place to start
I am aware. but it is not as easy as most people think. you'd have to do a ton of work in blender plus the flight physics are a bit tricky to work with. I'll start work on the colliders this week but I still have some other projects that take priority.

@rough fjord btw there’s a actual CIWS mod in the workshop currently would it be possible to have that on the ships because they actually shoot and targets air targets(a10, uh-1h, viper, z10 etc)
yes it is jank but im figuring stuff out. once i do itll be added to the carrier
it's a turret. it's player controlled or you can put an ai inside and it will (theoretically) fire just like a btr turret would.
Will the barrel turn when fired eventually
hopefully. I have the model properly skinned so I can animate it in workbench. just figuring that stuff out tho
All I know is needing to import the barrel as its own piece ot something of that line

yeah. I'm aware. my main bottleneck rn is making the gun swivel correctly without moving the other parts.
