I saw the docker on arma page but i tought it was an "extra" application, if it indeed does all of this then it will help me alot

I'm not familiar with Pterodactyl, so not sure, but it might be easier than Docker would be my guess

If you want to know what a command does, you can use man tail or tail --help

#

man gives you the manual page entry with the documentations

#

and many commands come with --help argument, which gives you a brief, but not so extensive summary
