its big however keep in mind a lot of the map are fields. It does a decent job at depicting the ukrainian countryside if i dont say so myself

Found two major bugs, map seems to be over saturated or something along those lines, second is there are zero environmental sounds, no rain sounds, bo wind sounds, no bird sounds, ext

What more details do you want me to add? I can send pictures of the saturation I was talking about or a video of the no environmental sounds if you want?
just a picture of the saturation is fine and what game mode you were playing when there was no env sound
not sure if u know this but to make better bom shells u can use the sculp tool

No I had that issue to in gm when you chose rainy weather the rain is silent, other then that it’s a great mod though

no, but you can take off virtually anywhere on the highways since it's a flat terrain

Honestly really good map. Shame there isn't alot of Ukrainian side mods yet nor a server of high pop I have found using this map
Id love to see a defense/offense type gamemode on this map. Itd be a ton of work to create something like that from scratch, hopefully we'll see more gamemodes released by BI in the future

That ingame map is already fixed when I pushed 1.0.5. Darkgru just hasn’t restarted their servers and updated the mod yet

that makes sense i updated the map for conflict and forgot to transfer it to GM. Ill throw it in an update probably tn
@white jay besides just quality of life updates for the map, do you also plan on making fictional additions to make the map a bit more interesting? Like underground bunkers and stuff like that?
While that is fun, it can cause issues with game performance. Personally more trenchs would be good, maybe am airfield too, similar to the one on Arland.
So when the SU25 and hinds are in the game, we can make a realistic soviet/Ukrainian airbase.

Yea there are already tons and tons of nice trenches most are kinda hard to find but there are never too many trenches, just make the map one giant trench
I probably would use the trench mod, but the trenchs on this map are awesome.
Is anyone having a FOV issue with this map? Like I have my FOV on everything maxed out but it looks the same as if it was set to base FOV ….
There is a bug after the recent update, Ive had serveral players approching me, and telling me they crash out of the game, when they reach a certain location on the map. Iam trying to pinpoint the area!
Yes I was playing around with the basement at school and it must’ve bug the game. I’ll have an update out in a couple minutes.

Apparently the people who made the mod took it down becuase it was only a test and they are bringing it back once it’s fully done or something along thos lines but it’s coming back for sure

They are in the game. Search erosion in prefabs. Mine look different because i retextured them.

@white jay another question, how did you get your cropfield paint to be so straight? Was it using poly lines or something? How did you do it?
Create splines or polylines and use the export option. After you’ve exported them they will just be a bunch of lines take the image it generated and throw it in photoshop. Use the paint bucket to fill in the area that you want to be a field make sure what you want your field to be is the white and not the black. Once your done export it as a png and go back to the world. Hit ctrl-T and find the surface material you want to import, right click the material and there will be an option to import your png to the world.
Where can I find this export option?
i cant remember off hand but i promise its there somewher in the world editor

Hey @white jay first of all I really like the map but it has some issues with Ai for some reasons if you give Ai any move order in GM they will dissapear and ai will just stand around the only order thats sometimes working is the defend one maybe you can take a look into this. The second thing is that the satmap has some weird colors in there like really bright shining orange maybe you can paint over these spots with an other color
You probably need to do something with the navmesh to fixx the issue with the ai
Yeah I think you need to remake your navmesh ai is just waling against fences and stuff
Visualeffects underwater are missingthere is no real texture under the watersurface
The latest version (1.2.0) says that a conflict mode was added in the changelog however there only appears to be one scenario with the mod, the game master one

I am unable to adjust the FOV when running Eastern European Conflict on my server, even with the camera manager added. The same process works on other maps.
Is there anyway to get the AI to spawn in ?
This needs more trenches and more vegetation.

There is no navmesh for the map, meaning the ai don’t know where to move. This is something the map creator has to implement

@white jay Any plans to add a 1.2 navmesh?
Also looks like the 1.2 update prevents the map from being opened in both the WB and in-game in a server. Works fine locally.
Might be due to the RplComponent changes.
I run Eastern Euro on my server without it being updated to 1.2 for PvP (No ai driving navmesh)
Yeah, it works fine despite there not being any navmesh. I was just curious.
If you are using AI (probably just ai driving) that will be an issue.

The map hasn't been updated to 1.2 to include new navmesh. I would only use this map for PvP.

WCS would have done some extra work on top of the mod for their community. Probably added in some custom areas, AI Navmesh etc
