Soooo what you are telling is that that people who dis-connected and re-connected get deleted mid gameplay? Normally only dead bodies should be inserted. So are you 500% positive about what you saw? Do you have any reproduction steps?
Well it might be just another bug after update, we had this bug while using #1166105746757398558 mod
as i said - here is possible repro steps
- Join server with turned on reconnect (we used 120sec timer to reconnect)
- Get kicked (turn off your internet)
- Reconnect and wait until you got bugged
as i mentioned earlier, Reforger Lobby mod uses VERY custom system, but we never had this bug before
it appeared right after last micro fix
i guess its worth pinging original author of mod

Okay, for me it would be good to know if it happens without the mod too and might be a vanilla issue in which case we must fix it 🙂
I'm not 100% sure about what exactly happening, it take some time to investigate it.

Is player controlled character deleting triggering only in OnPlayerDisconnected in base GameMode?
I mod only this and all work very well before last updates, it maybe my problem because lobby also update before this start happening.
As far I know it also may happen if there some Rpl error, but logs is empty on both sides client and server...
The strangest thing here is that the character is deleted only after a while, without any errors, no matter whether the player reconnect or not.
This is where the theory about GarbageManager was born.
Is there any possibility to completely disable garbage system, for some tests?

Arkensor, do you guys have any solutions to the current state of the game or is it a wait till Jan when everyone is back all hands? Hoping for Christmas break to have a stable exp. Yes, game mode has a property, set it to the most basic garbage system config. That will collect nothing.

I do not know this sorry. If i were to test this I would try with peer tools first and then locally hosted DS if peer tool magic bypasses the reconnect logic
