Just a quick little project I decided to work on since I like to play with a tiny group of people and combat ops is the perfect outlet for us.

This early version is pretty bare bones and really only includes a handful of locations. More is in the works every time I can find the time to work on it!

Please post any bugs you find!

Current Locations (7):

  • Ali Abad / Babyol
  • Tantil
  • Upper Kandaru
  • Nangalam
  • Bar Kanday
  • Unmarked (near Bar Kanday)
  • Salar Ban

Insertion Locations (3):

  • Korengal Outpost
  • FOB Thunderbolt
  • FOB Blessing

Extraction Locations (2):

  • FOB Michigan
  • OP Restrepo

In time are u gonna make it so there's one infill and one exfil point
And poss spread the AOs out across the whole map mate rather than along one road

So honestly that's a thought of mine.

Have it where instead of choosing one random FOB as the spawn, have it let you spawn at any of them.

The extraction point has to be from a gameplay standpoint at least make sense. Could be back to the spawn, could be FOB Michigan only, I'm not really sure yet.

As far as the points being focused on the MSR in the top of the map, that's just where I started. In the update im working on I'm going further out, down south. The next one will be more points, mainly south, and more random patrols at the small villages that are too small to have a full objective there

Rpg gunners are more accurate with a single rocket than the sharpshooters with 10 mags

I've had them pull out the RPG in 0.1 second and immediately have my skull zeroed in their sight

Also. This mod is great. I don't know much a out combat ops. Does it randomize evertime the server resets?

Hey another issue with the mod is that it doesn't clean any of the assets off of the ground. After some time, the game gets very laggy because of this.

Well the only thing that is intriging about that is that in like say for example PVE conflict (gramps mod), the ground is routinely cleared automatically

Well nonetheless it's a great game mode that I myself am just now learning about, but it has some critical flaws that are catastrophic in terms of usability

Kunar itself still has some kinks to be worked out but the combat ops mod runs great in my experience. Had up to 16 players on at once with no issues

I upped it to 24 or 32 I think. Had it on 16 but felt alot of milsim groups might run with more

The lag when lots of stuff is dropped still has to be fixed but that's on them

We have found a way to work around the issue with the lag from stuff on the ground. It is a little wonky but it works. Someone has to pick up everything and then that person gets deleted. Also, @tidal viper is it possible to add the crx enfusion mod as a dependency and change each AIs accuracy slightly. With that mod, if you increase the accuracy to like .7, it makes the Ai so that they can't shoot you in the head from 100 meters with iron sights. Basically it makes them way more realistic. Obviously you don't have to do this but it would cool if you could/did

CRX will be broken when 1.0 releases, ATiM said its changing so much stuff about AI he'll have to spend quite a while fixing it

I'm waiting for MyOwnMachine to update the taliban mod in order to update my own.

Saport also uploaded a new Toyota Hilux mod, so that one will be swapping over to the new one as well

Which is what I'm doing. I'm making a SF mission. This as a base world, and scenario framework as a sub-scene. I can ask on the mission maker thread too, its just hit or miss whether someone will answer. Thanks though
