I love the fact that there is so much forest. Cannot wait to shoot down a chinook/blackhawk of our guys and make them fight through the forest at night

How are the vehicles so smooth?
That just mainly how our servers handle, the more stuff and players will slowwly effect the vehicles but its your all spread out they run smooth

Completely fictional but Black Sea area
Cant wait to see what you have in store for the mountain part
There will be some cool stuff including some new models added over time I plan on expanding the map once it’s done creating new islands and or extending the main land
The reason I made this map public while I’m continuing to work on it is to not only show my progress but to show people who are new to terrain creation the steps taken along the way as well as attention to detail

Like I said everything will alter an or change nothing will stay the same.
Just getting my basic forests and roads down and adding little POIs as I go own, there will be a city up north as well as a quarry at some point over in the Center north region
A lot of the map Will eventually turn battle worn like an on going conflict struck during a peaceful time.
Fox holes, trenches, bunkers, artillery shelling, forest fires.
There may be a lot of “forest” but I can ensure everyone a lot of that will be converted into something
However the spruce regions will remain thick as that’s one thing the Black Sea has to offer with its surrounding areas
Lights, road signs and or guard rails will be added im currently having issues with destructive properties on generated walls
Do you plan to utilise any of the RHS: Terracore assets in this map?

Takes too long to be updating every day, zombies ignore Nav mesh for some reason so you could use em. AI work in general just they are really weird

The map will get bigger and bigger over time after I’ve completed it like you’ll see the tiles expand just for now im working these few land masses and then growing outward
I plan to have a large scale city im just gathering inspiration on some things the main feature of this map is a A-10 Capable Runway
Looking forward to seeing an airfield on a modded terrain that has a runway that can support more than just basic rotary stuff lmao.
Idk if your able to but a metro system or some kind of sewer under the city could be cool for cqb combat in the city

On gogland the bunkers are brilliant but damn there laggy 😂

Like I said previously any feed back will be heard and as always any community suggestions for POIs or locations can and or will be added don’t worry about the military side of those things I have everything planned out for those
What I’m probably going to do is expand the south east side next and then move to the airfield portion and then work on getting the massive towns done last that way units can utilize the map as needed
Beaches will receive a redux soon, islands will be added. Map squares will be increased
some suggestions for you, you should reverse the point order for this lake, and also switch out the generic light that you created for the map to the prefab version, as if the are any bigger changes from bohemia towards lightning that prefab version would be updated.
If I do that clouds flash bang the night sky it’s weird it’s just as a temporary fix as for the lake I have it like that intentionally
it could be that you are missing the Clouds_Distant_Semi01.emat on planet preset and the lens flare config {92489E4CCCB3D82F}Configs/LensFlares/LensFlares.conf

@crystal plume appreciate it, anything you find error wise let me know because that helps the process of getting all these things polished
i would move the ENV probe close to ground, so it has something to reflect back 😉 and the new settnings for the water effects, Bohemia place there ENv probe in an open field close by to some trees, to get a nice little effect from it, but other then that, everythings looks setup correctly
What about some bombed out towns or something? Always liked Livonia in DayZ because you had the blown up towns with them overgrown and that. @craggy moth

A friend flew over Croatian Island of Krk which is everon in flight simulator and it was like 10x bigger with way more forest and different terrain

It’s not done it’s still a WIP most areas are playable I have 2 portions done what I stopped at was my harbour and town on the west coast
The bridge expansion east is set up as well and the saw mill and continuation of the MB C is done
I have to go over everything against once each portion is done and add map scenery and props so for now its pretty static but everyone still loved it

New map expansion, Quarry/Mountain Climb. Note: All “Overgrowth” (Bunches of trees) will eventually be thinned out and stuff will be added or changed within all current brush is just a filler till more POIs are added and or altered. Map is best explored by use of FAV/ATVs
City/Mountain Top is next then airbase
