#Managed to get my first terrain

Hi! I had a quick look and for your first terrain, it's really not bad!
But you asked for feedback, so here you go:
- Generate a proper SatMap, that will make your terrain look a lot nicer. You may also want to adjust your terrains distances, I think the SatMap appears a little early?
- There's some things about the village that I quite like, for example the layout, the planted trees next to the church, the lights around it, or the walled "platform" adding a bit of verticality.
- But the village is also still quite empty, there are lots of props that you could scatter around it like more trash cans, flower pots, pallets, random litter and so on.
- Adding some decals to would also make it look a lot more interesting, like e. g. asphalt damage, manholes or road stripes indicating parking spots. Add road posts around your asphalt roads.
- The cliffs around your terrain mostly look a bit bland, I think if you expanded what you did around the harbor to the entire terrain, they would look a lot better.
- Use a proper forest ground terrain material, grass looks a bit off in these places. You could also consider mixing in a second grass type, look at how the official terrains do it.
- The terrain is sometimes fairly uneven in places where it doesn't make sense, like on asphalt.
- Generate a map! It's quite easy to do.
- Having meadows is great, but I think you could make them look a lot more interesting by adding some fences or the occasional manually placed vegetation like fruit trees. If you exclusively use generators, it can look boring.
- In general your terrain could use a lot more small structures or props, in many places it just seems a bit empty.
- Around your rivers, you could add special vegetation, river stones and so on.
- Add AmbientSounds.
As a final general tip, I can recommend studying other terrains if you're looking for concrete ideas or techniques - you can learn a lot this way. Or even just looking for reference images, e. g. on Google StreetView. 👍
