but for realistic scenarios it would be great i guess cause you cant bunnyhop and instantly shoot at people like before š
First thing I noticed, is when I spawn enemies down as GM, and when I return back to my person, I get the perspective of the AI

Ok, itās not coming back now, but I did notice when i dude while in the helmet camera view mode, when I went back to GM I was stuck in a Soviets helmet instead of in the air like normal

It's not very realistic to have movement like that. Irl, you never notice or experience that much view movement when looking around or bobbing your head. That's the limitations of fitting your view onto a monitor. Irl you have peripheral vision, and your eyeballs move independently to your head position. It's as if you superglued your eyes into place. Cool for cinematics from a go prop perspective though

i know but some game mechanics are exaggerating the reallife because its hard to put it on a 2d screen as you said. same with supression in some games

just spawning them through gamemaster
thats weird. tried that myself and it worked fine
also iāve noticed when you have nvgs active and the helmet cam you can see a reticle on the camera like from a svd or something

but my guess its something from the nvgs
maybe, iāll try redownloading the mod see if it fixes the ai thing.
seems deleting the mod and redownloading it fixes the ai issue

So Iāve noticed the filter turns off when you kill someone. It was even doing it whilst the AI were killing AI (that is turning the filter off for my character when a AI was killed in which I didnāt kill..not me playing AI).
i think the nvgs had that problem back in the day too

Ok, found another thing, I re ran the Tutorial, which covers every aspect of the game, and I found that on the .50 cal part where you pull up the Jeep to the firing range and you get inside you canāt aim down the sight.
Is there a way to make the head bob a little less violent?
Yeah, I do like the reload animation, I wonder if thereās a way to take away the idle animation where you look around and stretch

its a great mod for make great clips keep up the work
My thoughts:
Reloads and moving is great, the leaning feels really weird but okay
The head position is never aligned with the center of the screen making it very disorienting to use this mod and hip fire
Aiming transitions are rough
Free looking is slow and limited
My guess is you just attached the camera to the 3rd person head which works well in general but the 3rd person head isnāt perfectly suited for the task so some adjustment would be needed to make this fully functional
Also turret aiming is gone
Would be cool with the helmet camera if, somehow, you could use the regular views of the character in-game when playing, but have clips recorded by the helmet camera
ain't no way it'd be possible probably, but would still be cool

The camera is attached to the character at an offset from the head bone. Idk what you're talking about when you say "3rd person head" as there is only one head used by the player. It's just rendered or not rendered depending on first or third person view.
Okay yeah, thatās my best non modder terminology guess of how you did it, I guess reforger doesnāt render fpp separately like other games
it could be possible to have it side by side or smth like that but i wont be back until august

i tried body cam before my helmet camera but it didnt work because the arms were always in the way
idk if there is a way to stop that from happening
Ah, yeah I don't think there would be away to fix other then moving the camera to a position where it wouldn't which may be difficult as each gun and each position wouldn't allow something as smooth as a head cam
