Nice. Can't wait to check it out. Do you have a list of anything planned? This looks incredible already.
No roadmap list for long term, we got plenty of stuff in the pipe-line however. For the next release focus we will be on the Carl Gustaf AT launcher (with HEAT, HE, Smoke and Illum rounds) and the Tgb40 (The truck on the second image, in several variants more pics soon). After that I guess will be our "bolt-action" patch, with two sniper rifles (Artic Warfare, and the Ag90, known as the Barrett M82 / M107) as well as an old 1896 bolt action rifle that was still in use among the homeguard units in the 90's. Two AT mines are ready to go, but waiting for BIS to release theirs.

Next patch is around the corner, some minor fixes but the highlight is the addition of the Granatgevär modell 48 (GRG m/48) which literally means Grenaderifle , more commonly known as the Carl Gustaf. The development and design started 1946 and as the name indicates it was adopted in the armed forces 1948. For Reforger there is a 4 different ammunition's available , HEAT, HE, Smoke and illumination rounds. Model & textures by @slender cobalt

The FIM-43 Redeye portable anti-aircraft missile system was adopted in Sweden under designation "RBS 69", (Robotsystem 69 in Swedish, which actually needs no translation). Model is completed by Megadeth and awaits textures before we can implement it in Roforger to protect us from the nasty Mi24 by @elder creek 😉

New patch released tonight, includes the Scania all-terrain truck, Tgb 40. Automatic to be easy to drive for conscripts (also means this truck starts quickly....).Indicator lights for turning left/right will also improve the safety on the public roads as well as the position lights. Safety first, important in Sweden 😉 Around 10 different versions, with transport, fuel, covered and the cabin that was primarily used for when the Tgb40 was driving the artillery + its gun crew.
Also comes with a conflict mode for the Swedish forces on Aarland, and updated anims on some of the weapons.

I’m not use if it will be separate or not, it’s only used on the AK5 C so there is no point in having it separate. There will be two versions available in the editor but that will be customized with a prefab.
I disagree that the position is wrong, generally when I look at pictures it’s way back. In the end it all comes down to the preferences of the shooter.

New patch, new content. Introducing the anti-tank mines "Strvm 5" and "Strvm 6", which means Stridsvagnsmina (Tank mine literally) .
The Strvm 5 is the standard mine, with 10 kg TNT and 0.5 kg "plastic case", making it impossible to find with mine (metal) detector. In the Swedish armed forces it comes with a varity of fuzes, here we have included the pressure fuze which requires more than 200 kg to detonate.
The Strvm 6 is a slightly lighter mine at 8 kg, but comes with a magnetic fuze, designed not to go off from normal counter mine measures such as pressure or movement, also means if a tank drives over it without hitting it with its tracks, it will still detonate.
From a gameplay perspective, pick the mines up in a backpack, drop them from the inventory screen and then select Arm when you look at the mine. Only way to disable them is to fire on them.

Hello, I recently tried this mod. But strangely I've found out that all the rocket launchers do almost no damage at all, is this a bug?

The AT4 use the exact same warhead as the RPG7 i think so it really should not be any difference

No but we did implement some minor fixes for the mines where the custom script was removed in favour of the official mines that was released in the update.
Ah ok good to know idk if it was recently fixed tho but I was messing with it in Private GM and found that the reload animation for just the basic rifle not the ak 5 the other one, but when reloading the gun does not actually reload and the reload animations seem to have no sound and some are off like the LMG that comes with this mod

There is of course more to do as Reforger evolves and the game changes mods sometimes needs to redo things, bug test things that was working but not any longer etc..
However we have now released a new patch that should hopefully bring back the arsenal and ammo boxes etc.
Also, its a minor thing but added a "Swedish mine" flag (and also a yellow version for training) rather than having a US/USSR one. But more real content is in the making and the next patch shouldn't be too far way
Figured I’d update you guys on some bugs, the KGP 58 and the AK 4 are both still a little buggy as they do not reload when you attempt to reload them

I was messing with the Regular AK 4 and it seemed to be only one not working as in reload aspect. The AK 4 with the grenade/203 seems to reload fine on private GM as for the one without it does not same thing KSP 58 doesn’t reload either idk weird
The AK 5 seems to reload fine along side with the sub machine gun that is in the arsenal box
Haven’t had any issues with the AT weapons yet nor the pistol

Transport Trucks are missing the seats, intentional or was this due to the Major Update?
i cant fire or aim the guns im pressing the trigger no shoot after downloading it since the patch like any guns

Sometimes after downloading a mod and jumping into a private or public gm session it'll do that. After downloading a mod or multiple at once quit out of the game completely to your PC/ console home screen and then relog back in.

Intentional, this truck isn't normally used for troop transports but only for cargo. However we have now released a troop transport (it was viewable in release mission / cti but wasn't actually intended for release yet)

Thats actually the way its designed to be charged, theres a chance it wont go fully into battery if you dont slap the charging handle.

Yeah they are terrible really. If a model is 99,9% perfect they are gonna notice the last percentage and complain. Never satisfied
small "hot fix but not a fix, just temporary solution" released for the tgb40, from a functional point of view, it works.. but some anims (like door is static when leaving) is still there. We don't fully understand the changes of the patch.. which to be honest came at same time as the first sunlight hit Sweden and editing had to put on prio 2.. so we not working as fast as during the cold season but we are still looking into it and will of course update and fix it
these "it used to work" also includes some missing sounds on weapon reload etc. We need to go through everything and write a to do list

The Swedish forces pack has a lot of the previous bugs that were already stated, but there is a possibility that the Mod crashes the server although its systematically operational.

I was going to ask about the SUSAT on the AK 5, as you can take it off but not replace it
Just tested it and truck works great in terms of the suspension/CoG
Placing the truck is buggy.
For Ex.
If you place a truck with the front of it facing west (preview version) then it will be placed down facing a different direction.
So I went through all the trucks and placed them facing North to record which way they face when they are spawned in:
Stock Truck: North
Transport Troop: West
Transport Frame: East
Transport Canopy: West
Fuel Truck: West
Cabin: North
Cabin Frame: North
Cabin Canopy: North
Cabin Ammo: North
So its the Transport and Fuel Variants that deviate from their preview

So the base AK 4 and the scoped variant will not reload, the mag just goes invisible and the weapon stays empty; this is the same issue with the KSP 58. All variants of the AK4 are unable to lean properly as your weapon faces the sky or the ground

The hawk anti air (or RBS 67 as the Swedish designation) is a major challenge, but also a good way for me to really start learning scripting... We also have the Redeye waiting for some proper code

The legs offer it stability when set up in a firing position. The wheels are just for towing.

They have a leveling sensor, the legs mean that the platform remains level.

You've also got redline with their aircraft codes they used for the A-10, plus they're working on guided missiles which I believe are nearly done I'm not 100% sure. Maybe speak to them about the RBS-67.
Yeah, i been looking into the Redline, it is nice, but its 100 mb with pilot helmets etc.. just for us to have one missile that few will use, is not really "value for money", adding Striders for tracked .... soon you end up with scaring people away, and like mega said, maintaining etc
For arma3 the only real dependency we used was CBA, and then we added several as "soft dependencies", like if you started with TFAR, you had a TFAR radio, but if you used ACRE or none, it was just a plain backpack
(Just my 2 cents) 100mb is very small tbh and with the stuff on experimental, mods download alot quicker and the workshop is a tad more stable as well. + most modern communities already have redline installed for helicopters, strykers, etc….

Won't happen. Core is specifically meant to be a single source for Vehicle/aircraft and related systems for mod makers to use. Additional helicopter subsystems, fixed wing aircraft, guided missiles/bombs, radar, targeting, and countermeasures. It's creation was so that anything R3D made that carried between mods could just be placed in core and only updated once. Splitting into multiple mods would negate that purpose.
It is just as possible to create new prefabs /scripts doing pretty much the same thing but keeping it dependency free from a 3rd party mod that is outside of your own control if you consider it is mandatory to create tracked vehicles fot reforger (i don’t think it is before bi supports it directly)
Yes but when isn't small anymore.. 5*100? And since you don't know what other people will do with their mods, next day there is a big "common weapons" and one of the mods you depend on is 300 mb of russian /usa stuff that have no relevance for the Swedish mod..

I've heard explosions every time, and saw two missiles per shot (the one I fired and then a new one in front of me?)
I think the mi8 got explosion decals from it but I did not see any explosion fx
I tested it on a server with 150 ping, you can download a tool like Clumsy to simulate this kind of ping in peertool and hopefully you experience the same thing
I will see, surprised if it doesn’t work, more worried would be double explosions….
I'm also happy to give you access to the test servers I was using, but peertool is generally better

Oh if it tracks it should hit I hope, and if it hits it’s normal collision /explosion effect so only if the server/clients doesn’t for some reason detect the collision.. our script basically steers the missile but doesn’t cause an explosion, that is vanilla

Merry Christmas, a new patch to make the truck usable again. We will need to go over this once again and fix/improve some aspects but at least it works again. However the change I would like your attention / feedback on is the following. With this patch I have overwritten the BIS conflict mission. This means, if you have SFP loaded and select the Conflict mission. It will be Swedes vs Russians. The benefits is that we will have a conflict mission, always with the correct/latest version, easy for us to maintain rather than trying to do our mission of it. The drawback is mostly if you want to have this mod loaded but still want to play the US vs Soviet conflict mission, or load some other mod potentially that will try use same thing. So please, let us know if this is a good, bad solution or if it doesn't concern you at all.
Will they ever be given body armor?
Not likely for the current time frame soldiers, (1980-1990), as far as I know. But for the 1990-2000 era (which we might slip into), there was a light combat "armor"

Just downloaded the mod and was doing some quick testing before our server tried it out.
Found some issues
- scopes on ak4, m48 & rbs69 have no crosshair
- zeroing the m86 farther aims it down.
- rbs69's rocket just freezes in the air when fired
- signal pistol 50 glitches out your hands/arms & won't fire
- the animation for loading a mag/round & charging the weapon happens every time you pull the weapon out
- seats don't work in the troop transport
- trying to open a truck door freezes your character
- sometimes the trucks barely drive forward & when they do, they are fairly slow
Fixes for weapons/sights are on the way, we will look into fixing the truck after the weapons are fixed.

We have been waiting for more docs/support regarding vehicles.
TGB40 is our first test that will lay the how-to base for all the other vehicles to come.
Also waiting for BI to release tracked vehicles.

I love that little truck, suspension did seem like every bushing was fucked in an old video of it driving. If there are any vehicle questions you guys got, you can DM me as I am a mechanic!

My guess is parenting is more prevalent compared to sending kids to school and what not

Hi, love the mod. However, I found that the "RBS69" missile launcher crashes the clients of players on a locally-hosted server when either on a Weapon Rack or on the ground.
I am currently running a 1989-set campaign and had a session cut short because an RBS69 had inadvertently spawned on a BLUFOR Weapon Rack, leading to all my players' clients crashing with the following message when nearing the rack (approx. 100m away):
"Exception: Access violation. Illegal read by 0x7ff7f2b2dd78 at 0x[number here]"
After extensive debugging, I was able to confirm it was the RBS69 causing it. When locally hosting a server, spawning a Weapon Rack with an RBS69 will guarantee a crash of any players who are remotely close to it.
The error.log file would read as such:

Hey how were you going about debugging that access violation error? I keep getting it in one of my mods during testing and I'd love to find out what needs to be removed 🙂
Just trial-and-error. I figured it was a mod causing it, so I had 5 of my players on a locally hosted server and just went about placing different entities & reducing loaded mods until I could replicate a crash. Every single time, without fail, when I placed a Weapon Rack with an RBS69 it would cause all connected clients to crash. I could even switch a Weapon Rack from US to Swedish and it would instantaneously cause a crash. This held after successive restarts, and was even when I had literally no other entities on a server. It also helped that the final line of the error.log file on everyone's systems always said the RBS69 was spawned.
a player of mine kindly passed along a full .rar file with all relevant logs
The final number of the Access Violation always read something different, from my players, I got:
Exception: Access violation. Illegal read by 0x7ff7f2b2dd78 at 0x295ffac0530
and

Hey, just a heads up the Carl Gustaf is doing some funny things. The video speaks for itself. If you inspect via holding r, you can sort of make use of it. Otherwise, there is no way to reload it. I noticed this prior to today's Reforger update.
A second issue that I noticed is that the Swedish shovels don't work with ACE Trenches. You can't place the blueprint to build. Swapping to a vanilla shovel works fine.
